"Dean!" Cas shouted, pushing open his bedroom door forcefully, "we need to leave now!"

Dean instantly jumped up to his feet, "What's wrong? Am I gonna be late for class?" He glanced over at the digital clock on his nightstand, "class isn't for another two hours." He sat back down.

"It's your brother."

"I don't want to hear about him right now," Dean yelled in return.

"He was in a car crash and is in the hospital. He's unconscious." Cas' voice started to shake.

"Wh-what?" Dean froze for a minute in an attempt to let the news process, "I'm gonna kill the bastard that did this." He was starting to fume with fury, using every molecule in him to fight back tears, "wh-what about Gabe? Does he need a ride?"

"He's already in your car. Now let's go!" Dean sprinted to his Impala behind Cas, spotting a balling Gabriel upon arrival.

"Fucking drive, Dean!" Gabe screamed. Dean obliged. He was shaking the entire ride, tears starting to fall down as he sped, harshly beeping his horn at any and all traffic, muttering swears while doing so.

When Dean removed one of his hands from the wheel, Castiel took that as an opportunity to hold it, squeezing tight. Gabriel's cries continued to echo throughout the vehicle.

They soon arrived at the hospital, bolting in and approaching the front desk. Dean took the lead, pushing everyone else out of his way, including the person talking to the desk clerk, "I need to see my brother. His name is Sam Winchester. He was in a car crash," he screamed at the lady who appeared very disinterested.

"I need to see him too!" Gabriel shot in, his eyes all red and puffy from crying.

"Are you family?"

"No."

"Then you can't see him."

"He's my boyfriend," Gabe lied, "please let me see him."

"Fine, what's your name?"

"Gabriel."

"He's unconscious right now and being treated for severe injuries. You and.." she paused and pointed at Dean.

"Dean."

"Dean can go see him when the doctor clears it. Just take a seat for now." They all went over to the blue chairs in the waiting room and took a seat anxiously.

"You and Sam are dating?" Cas asked his brother.

"No, I just said that so I can see him." Dean buried his face in his hands in an attempt to hide the tears trickling down. Cas realized what was happening and placed his hand on his friend's thigh. Dean wasn't expecting the contact but quickly laced his fingers with his, never wanting to let go.

Fifteen minutes later, a doctor approached them, "Dean and Gabriel, you can see Sam now."

They both got up but Dean stopped, "Can Cas come with me?"

"Is he related?"

"He's my boyfriend so he's basically family," Dean lied, stealing Gabe's excuse.

"Right this way," the doctor said as all three followed. They soon arrived in a blinding white hospital room. Sam laid on the bed, cuts and dry blood covering his body. Multiple different IV's were connected to him, pumping him with fluids.

Dean approached the bed and just collapsed to the floor, tears now pooling down from his eyes as he grabbed his brother's hand, "Please wake up, Sammy. I'm so sorry I got so mad at you. You need to wake up. Please." Castiel came up behind Dean, leaning down and wrapping his arms around him.

Cas rubbed Dean's back and whispered, "Everything is going to be okay." Dean broke down even more and just held Cas as they both sat there on the floor.

Gabriel was on the other side of Sam, holding his hand for dear life, "Sam, you gotta wake up, please. I- I don't know what I'd do without you. I love you. I love you so much. More than you know," He kissed Sam's hand still sobbing.

The room was filled with tears, pain, and the fear of Sam never waking up. This was not the way any of them expected their Tuesday to go.
