Dean woke up to the aroma of crispy bacon and sweet maple syrup. He instantly got out of bed, desperate to see the one cooking the amazing breakfast. Dean arrived in the kitchen to see Cas standing over the stove, a pastel pink 'kiss the cook' apron wrapped around him. His hair was disheveled from sleep and he was humming a tune. Dean couldn't help but smile, "Well Good morning, Angel."

"Angel? That's new," Cas replied, "I like it."

Dean walked closer to Cas so he was right behind him, getting a little too close but he couldn't help it. Castiel just looked so alluring, "Woah, Dean." Castiel jumped, turning around when his friend wrapped his arms around his waist. "What's up? Castiel asked, nervous as Dean looked over his features.

They were so close, their noses were almost touching. Dean's breath hitched and he couldn't help but turn red, "Breakfast looks amazing," Dean stated, a small grin gracing his face, trying to ignore how fast his heart was beating.

"You're looking at me, Dean, not the food."

"And?" Dean licked his lips, directing his eyes to his friend's lips before starting to lean in closer to the flustered man in front of him. What the hell was he doing? His heart was pounding out of his chest now, Cas' matching. Castiel instinctively closed his eyes but before anything else happened, they heard footsteps enter the kitchen.

"I knew you guys were dating!" Adam squealed before running around the bunker and yelling, "Destiel is real! Destiel is real!"

Dean sighed as Castiel reopened his eyes, his hot breath still on the other's lips. Dean carefully removed his hands from Cas and ran after Adam, chasing him down the hallway, "We are not dating!"

"You pretty much kissed!"

"But we didn't!" Dean retaliated.

"Almost did!"

"Doesn't count!" He continued to chase after him until the entire bunker was awake and heading to the kitchen. Dean returned to the kitchen last to see Cas removing the apron after setting out the food. Dean approached him, "You can keep that on y'know?"

"Do you like it?" Cas asked.

"Maybe just a little. It's cute but not as cute as you."

"Stop flirting and come eat," Sam yelled to his brother, chuckling. Dean's face flushing pink before taking a seat at the table next to Cas. Everyone realized that Gabe and Sam sat as far away from each other as possible but no one said anything, not wanting to cause more tension.

Dean dug into his food, being the first one done, "Best breakfast I've ever had," Dean stated, patting his stomach smirking, before turning and smiling at Cas.

"It is really good," Sam commented, "thanks, Cas." Everyone else went on to thank him too.

Dean turned to face Castiel again, his knee bumping into his, neither of them moving away, "You should cook for me more often."

"Just you?"

"Well everyone but mainly me," Dean winked. Cas smiled as pink flourished on his cheeks and nodded.

Charlie cut in before people could all leave, "Gabe and Sam, can you please do the dishes?" They both said no but Charlie didn't accept their answers. They both ended up being the only two left in the kitchen.

Sam and Gabe stood in silence for a while as they washed the dishes, avoiding all eye contact, until they said in unison, "We need to talk."

"You can go first," Sam suggested quickly.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for not letting you talk. The truth is I'm scared of what you have to say and I hate admitting that. Even right now, I'm still not ready. I feel awful that you think I don't care about you. I probably care about you more than anyone. Don't tell Cas. I want things to go back to the way they were before." Gabe looked Sam in the eyes, earnest visible through his honey brown orbs.

"It's okay, I understand. I'm sorry for putting you through me getting that drunk. Although I don't remember what happened, I know I was terrible to you and that's not okay. I can still keep to myself what I wanted to say I guess if that's what you really want. I can't hold it in forever though but for now we can go back to normal. Let's see how things play out."

"Sounds like a plan, Sammy. So we're good now?"

"Yes, we're good now," Sam pulled Gabriel into a hug, feeling great about the fighting being over. Gabriel may not know he loves him yet but one day he will. Hopefully he feels the same.
