"Dean are you okay?" Cas asked as he approached Dean standing by his impala, "I saw Gabe's tweet and how you replied to Sam."
"No, I'm not okay. I couldn't sleep, things are awkward, and I'm still embarrassed." Dean's voice was getting shaky. It looked like he was about to cry.
Cas pulled him into an embrace, "Please don't be embarrassed, it's okay. I'm sorry. I should've come to bed last night but I thought you wouldn't want me there anymore."
Dean pulled away, "why would you think that?"
"Just after yesterday and I thought you found the whole thing weird in the first place."
"It's not weird and you help me sleep. I especially need sleep right now when I'm so pissed at Sam."
"I'm sure he had good intentions."
"Wish I could see it that way."
Cas placed a comforting hand on his friends' shoulder, "Let's just pretend this didn't happen and go back to normal. You can still be pissed at Sam but I don't want what he did to ruin our friendship."
Dean nodded in agreement before opening the door on his impala for Castiel to get in, "Let's go home, Cas."
