Part 38

It's been a few days since Dean's problem occurred and things haven't exactly got much better for him. Things have been awkward between him and Cas and Castiel is starting to notice.

Dean, what's going on?" Cas asked worryingly.

"Nothing, why do you ask?" Dean mumbled.

Cas responded, "You've been avoiding me ever since truth or dare night. You were weird after leaving that bathroom, what happened? You also sleep to where you're almost falling off the bed. Did I do something wrong? I hope I can make it up to you if I did."

"No, Cassie," Dean replied, "you did nothing wrong, I promise. I've just been feeling sick."

Castiel instantly raised his hand to Dean'a forehead, feeling for a temperature, "You feel fine. Why don't you tell me what's really wrong?" Cas stepped closer. He was not playing games this time.

Dean harshly swallowed, "I'm trying to figure out some things, okay? You.. you in my leather jacket did something to me."

"I have no clue what you mean by that but please stop avoiding me. I don't care what me wearing that jacket did to you but I'm here for you, Dean and I want you to have a good time while we're here. I also miss you."

"I miss you too," Dean said before pulling his friend into a hug. This was good. He was making progress.

"Nice to see you two talking again," Sam smiled as he entered the kitchen.

Gabe followed behind him, "Yea, Dean. Truth or dare night was pretty hard for you, huh?" He winked. Cas just looked at his brother confused.

Dean maturly responded, "Yea, I'm realizing I was overreacting by avoiding Cas and I want to have fun here and give Castiel a good time. It's already Wednesday. It's about time I get myself together."

"What a beautiful speech," Lucifer cut in while clapping.

Cas turned back to face his best friend and whispered, "Thank you. I'm glad you're gonna stop acting weird." Dean smiled.
