Dean fell asleep in a chair, his head resting on Cas, the other's arms wrapped around him. Gabe, on the other hand, managed to crawl into the bed with Sam, careful not to mess any IV's up. One of his arms rested lightly on his friend.
Dean and Gabe woke up to a knock on the door, "wow you guys look awful," Lucifer stated.
"Yea, do you see what happened to my brother you asshole? How the hell did you even get back here?" Dean shouted, waking up Cas.
"I have my ways. Look, I was trying to figure out who did this."
"And?" Dean questioned.
"Nothing. I'm sorry."
"Real helpful, Luci." Cas grabbed Dean's hand and started tracing circles on it in an attempt to comfort Dean.
"I have an idea of who could've done this," Gabe cut in, "our father."
"Don't you dare call him that," Cas spat, an anger showing that was unrecognizable to Dean. Cas never has talked about his father.
"Well that would make sense," Luci replied.
"Why have I never heard about your father?" Dean asked curiously.
Cas responded, "I said don't call him that and it's not important."
"I want to know."
"I said no, Dean!" Castiel raged pushing his friend away from him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. I won't ask again. I can't have us fighting right now with all this going on. I need you by my side."
"Stop with the romance, I will find out if Gabe is correct. See you boys later," Lucifer said, turning to leave, "oh also, I recommend maybe taking a shower. You guys could use one." He turned to leave again but turned back around, "one more thing. I mean showering separately Cas and Dean." Then he left. Cas and Dean both went red.
"I really hope we can catch the person that hurt my Sammy," Gabe stated.
Dean replied, "Oh you don't even want to know what I'm gonna do to them when we find them."
A nurse entered the room, "You boys need to head out to the waiting room. Need to work with Sam for a bit." They all unhappily left.

"Why did Chuck reply to this?" Cas asked angrily, shoving his phone in Dean's face.
"Hell if I know. I thought he wanted nothing to do with me."
"So you haven't talked to him recently?"
Dean didn't want to lie but Chuck told him to keep quiet if this was going to work, "No, I haven't. Not since he threatened to block me." Castiel seemed satisfied with his answer.
