Third person POV

"Kells, baby, don't cry. It's gonna be alright." Kelsey's mom reassured her while she was watching her daughter sitting in the plastic horse of the carousel, crying. She was scared of many rides on amusement parks.

"Mommy, I can't do it, I'm so scared." Kelsey looked at her mother with tears in her eyes.

"Yes you can. You're strong and right now, you will face one of your fears and I will be here with you, don't worry Kells." Her mother gave her a big smile which kind of motivated her to do so.

You will probably think how can a person be scared of carousels... well, when Kelsey was always thinking about the accidents that can happen in parks like this one and not the fun.

"Hey, you." Kelsey turned to her left to see a little boy, probably her age with chocolate eyes and dark skin. He had the basic buzz haircut like most of the other boys had in that age.

"Hi." She greeted him back while weeping away her tears.

"I kind of overheard your conversation with your mom. Actually you were being a little too loud but don't be scared. I've been on this ride a thousand times! It's very fun!" The boy said, while smiling.

"Really?" Kelsey asked with hope.

"Yeah! Just enjoy the ride and I'm one hundred percent sure that you will like it and want to go on this ride again." The boy laughed and Kelsey nodded her head.

"We will see about that. Wait, what's your name?" From the day that Kelsey and her family moved in Houston, she knew that she had to make many friends and have fun with them.

"I'm Jack, and you?"

"I'm Kelsey. Do you want to be friends?" It's so easy to make friends when you're little. No pressure to shoot the question.

"Sure!" Jacques said while smiling at Kelsey. She just made her first friend in Houston and she was so happy. She couldn't wait to meet more kids close to her age.

After the ride ended, the two kids went to their mothers and decided to make them meet each other. Turns out they had many things in common and decided to go to some other rides together.

"How many times have you visited this park? I can't remember the name of it, by the way." Kelsey said while waiting for Jacques' response.

"Over than twenty times, I think. And this amazing park it's called Astroworld. One of my favorite places in the world." Jacques replied with a huge smile on his face while remembering all these beautiful memories he had about this place.

"How many times have you visited this park?" Jacques curiously asked his new friend.

"This is my first time in here actually. We moved here in Houston two days ago."

"Where were you living before coming here?" Jacques asked out of curiosity.

"New York."

"Really? That's so cool! I always wanted to go there!" Jacques enthusiastically said.

"No, it's too loud for me and I didn't have many friends there. I hope I can make more here!" Kelsey said with excitement.

"You can meet my other friends if you want. They're living at the same street as me. What's your address?"

"It's ... (shhh personal stuff)."

"That's crazy! I live in the same street! And since we're friends now, you can call me Jack, just like my family and friends do!" Jack smiled and she smiled back. He was happy of making a new friend. And especially a girl friend. She can become great friends with Sophia, the only girl from his friends group.

"I like Jacques better, I think. I'm probably gonna use both of them actually." Kelsey and Jacques laughed.

That was the first time that Kelsey and Jacques met. In Astroworld. After that, Kelsey met Jack's siblings, Jordan and Josh, and his friends group.

There was Sophia, Ash and Chase. She became really good friends with Sophia, since they were both girls. They have been sharing their secrets ever since.

After three years, the 'crew' met another girl that was also new in the neighborhood.

Her name was Scarlett. She was very kind and friendly and sticked with them perfectly.

The were the fantastic six. That's how they were calling themselves. Ever since that day, they became inseparable. No one could tear them apart. Or so they thought...
