"...Happy birthday Kelsey, happy birthday to youuu!" My dad and Jack sang to me and I blew out the candles after making a wish.

It was my birthday and I was glad to spend this day with people I love.

"Thank you so much, you don't know how happy I am right now!" I said and wiped a small tear that escaped from my right eye. I was always crying on my birthday, without any reason at all.

"Happy birthday, Kelsey." My father said and we hugged. Then his phone rang and he walked away to answer.

"Happy birthday, bird." Jacques said and kissed my forehead before hugging me tight. I took a good smell of his cologne and we pulled away.

"Bird? What's up with that?" I asked out of curiosity and he chuckled.

"You're a bird now, you're eighteen. You're about to start living your life the way you love and travel, like a bird." He softly said and I smiled.

"Jacques, that's so cute." I said and he smiled, then hugged me one more time.

"Alright guys, something came up and I have to go to the headquarters. I don't know when I will be back, have a nice day." He grabbed his coat and left the house.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes and kissed my teeth, making Jack look at me.

"Uh, I'm sorry. But we're gonna have fun and you will forget about this, okay?" He asked and I nodded while looking at his eyes.

"What do you have in mind?" I asked him.

"Your birthday, your choice. I know that you don't care about it much and you probably wanna watch movies or some shit." I laughed at how good he knows me.

"Are you ready for a bob squarepants night?" I asked with excitement and we laughed.

"Aight, imma go get some snacks and I will be back."

"Welcome to our new home!" My mom said while unlocking the door. My eyes widened at the design of our house and she chuckled when she noticed me.

"Mom, it's amazing! I like this one more than our older one
