Otterpelt was sorting herbs in the medicine den. The brown she-cat decided she would do this before she went to speak with Blizzardpaw. A couple of moons ago, a cat named Thorntail, an old Driftclan medicine cat that taught Otterpelt the ways of a medicine cat, had told her and Vertexclan's medicine cat, Nova, that there was a prophecy that Starclan chose not to speak of. Thorntail did what was right and told the two medicine cats, but before he could finish the prophecy, the time to speak with him was up and the two medicine cats got stuck with "The blizzard will stop the sh-" which isn't good at all.
"Well, at least we know that the prophecy might have something to do with Blizzardpaw..." Otterpelt mewed to herself as she sorted the last of the herbs that needed sorting.
Can't have a messy medicine den after all.
Once Otterpelt finished, she padded out of the den. She instantly spotted Blizzardpaw with her mentor, Sandcoat.
Looks like they are going out of camp soon. I better get to them quickly. Otterpelt thought and ran over to Blizzardpaw and Sandcoat.
Sandcoat was the first to notice her when she ran up to them, "Oh, hi Otterpelt," He meowed.
Blizzardpaw turned around next, "Hi Otterpelt!" She mewed excitedly.
"Hey! Sandcoat, can I talk to Blizzardpaw for a moment, please?" She asked nicely.
"Sure, I'll go talk to Shellstar then, once I come back we'll go Blizzardpaw."
"Okay, Sandcoat!", She replied and watched her mentor head to Shellstar's den, then turned to Otterpelt. "So, what's up?"
"Just wanted to ask if you've had any... Weird dreams lately."
"Weird dreams? Like special ones?"
"Sure!"
"Hm..." Blizzardpaw thought for a second. "Well, when I was a kit, I had a strange dream. I never knew what it meant, but I figured you would! I just never got the chance to talk to you until now!" She smiled.
"Tell me about the dream," Otterpelt insisted.
"Well, this cat that had stars in their fur told me about an uh, shred that was hurting a clan, I think?" Blizzardpaw tilted her head a little.
That's it! The last part of the prophecy! "The blizzard will stop the shred"! Otterpelt thought and almost hopped around like a kit.
"We're going now!" Sandcoat yelled from across the camp near the entrance.
"I have to go with Sandcoat now! Hopefully, that helped you!" Blizzardpaw ran to her mentor.
It did Blizzardpaw. Now I have to let Nova know!

Blizzardpaw was a little confused. She and Sandcoat haven't been to the Ocean Side since the gathering. I wonder what we could do now? She thought, then happily trotted beside her mentor. They continued padding down the side until they got to a certain spot where the water got deeper as you pad on.
"What are we doing here, Sandcoat?" Blizzardpaw mewed with confusion.
"Well, I'll be teaching you how to swim and catch fish!" He exclaimed with a smile.
Blizzardpaw hopped up and down excitedly, "Yay!"
"Swimming is serious, Blizzardpaw. Do your best to swim nice and fast." He meowed, getting ready to go into the ocean and swim.
"Okay!"
"Now watch how I do this." Sandcoat padded into the water. The sand disappeared from under his paws. Sandcoat began reaching one paw out after another and continued to swim around in a circle and then swam back to Blizzardpaw.
"Wow, that was amazing, Sandcoat!" She gasped.
Sandcoat shook his fur as the water was dripping off of it. "I want you to try, but be careful. It's all in the forepaws and it will be cold. Just don't freak out, okay?"
"I won't!" Blizzardpaw slowly headed into the water. It's so cold! She thought as the water came up to her legs. She looked back at her mentor, with a slight look of worry on her face.
"Like I said Blizzardpaw, just don't get scared and you'll be fine."
Blizzardpaw took a deep breath in and then out, then continued to head into the water. The fluffy apprentice noticed her paws couldn't feel the ground anymore.
"There you go! Now just use your paws to swim in a circle and back to me." Sandcoat instructed.
Blizzardpaw nodded and pulled the water towards her with her forepaws, and she moved forward. Once she felt like it, she turned around as Sandcoat did. Blizzardpaw saw Sandcoat smiling as she swam back to him. Once she got back on shore, she shook her fur out vigorously. "The water is super cold!" Blizzardpaw shivered.
"It might be, but you did an amazing job! I didn't think you could get it first, try!" Sandcoat purred at the progress his apprentice has made.
"I can swim!" Blizzardpaw hopped up and down again.
"Yes, you can! Now, we will practice this a little more and then head back to camp." Sandcoat meowed to her.
"What about fishing?" The white she-cat questioned.
"Once we go over things tomorrow before your assessment, I'll teach you how to fish."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
