Shredflash felt like he's been padding down the Ocean Side forever. He got hungry and caught a small gull and ate it. Then he continued his small journey to Driftclan.

"Are you sure that this is they way, Shred?" Shredflash asked, padding a little slower now.

Yes, trust me. I know it's taking a while, but you will know when you are close. Shred replied.

Shredflash sighed and kept on padding. He had to remind himself what he was doing this for. He was doing this for his mate and soon to be born kits. He wasn't letting anything impede them from being born. Shredflash will kill whoever stands in his way. But as he continued to pad on down the Ocean Side, he saw something in the distance. It was what seemed like a grey cat trying to catch some fish in the water. "Shred... Is that the cat?"

Shred didn't respond for a moment, but when he did, his voice was deeper. Yes, He said.

Shredflash stood and watched as the grey tom caught one fish, then another one. They both looked small. The grey tom then picked up both in his maw and padded back somewhere. He might go back to Driftclan Shredflash, better hurry. Shred had told him.

"I will kill him," Shredflash meowed and followed the grey cat. He did it slowly and carefully so the tom wouldn't notice that he was being followed.

*

Shredflash continued to follow the tom as he padded through more trees. The heavy scent of Driftclan hit his nose as he got closer to their territory.

"I'm surprised that they live this close to the ocean," Shredflash meowed quietly.

I'm surprised he doesn't notice that you are behind him yet, friend! Shred's voice echoed in Shredflash's head as he continued following him. The grey tom looked like he would head into his camp. The scent of Driftclan was even stronger than before.

Shredflash, once he enters his camp. You must get rid of him right there and then leave. Try to kill him as fast as you can.

Shredflash growled at the thought of that tom killing his family. He unsheathed his claws and started running towards him. The grey tom turned around and unsheathed his claws. But unfortunately, he was too late as Shredflash pounced on him and pinned him.

"Who are you?" The grey tom exclaimed as he clawed at Shredflash, but it wasn't enough to get him off.

Shredflash didn't respond as he took his claws in his right paw and dragged it across his face. Which caused him to yell, but Shredflash put his paw over the tom's maw. "Quiet," he hissed. Shredflash didn't know that a few cats had seen what was happening.

Better get this done quickly! A cat is running to you, Shredflash... Shred said.

Shredflash's anger rose, and he took his claws and dug them deeper into the tom's neck. He watched blood leak from it.

More! Shred yelled.

Shredflash then used both sets of his claws and dug into both sides of the Driftclan cats' neck. Blood continued to spill out of his neck as his body slowly stopped moving.

"Hey! Intruder!" It was the meow of a she-cat that was running towards Shredflash now. She had blue-grey fur and what are now angry green eyes.

Shredflash leave, now. We did our time here.

Shredflash hopped off of the tom and ran out of Driftclan territory. He turned around to see if any cat was chasing him, but there wasn't.

A cat might come after you, Shredflash, stay by the Ocean Side for a little while... Shred echoed in his head.

Shredflash stopped by the Ocean Side. He had blood all over his claws. He stared in the distance as he watched the sunrise above the water.

"Whatever it takes to protect my family," He meowed to himself.
