You were a little caught off guard since that was something Seungmin didn't really say much. It was more of a Minho or Hyunjin thing, but you were used to it coming from them, and not really from anyone else.
You wondered what had gotten into Seungmin when he said that. You heard him click his tongue as his arms crossed above his chest.
Suddenly, you get reminded of earlier and how he pecked your cheek. But thinking of that made your cheeks flush, and hiding that would be useless now since he'd already seen it a while ago.
"Sometimes even thinking of them can cause a headache, you know," he then adds. And he's back to normal, you thought, the redness of your cheeks seemingly fading away.
Seungmin only dodged your question so you wouldn't think of your bedridden grandmother, not wanting to stir a panic in you after having woken up.
You end up breaking into a smile at his statement, relieved that he wasn't really being serious.
"I'm serious,"
Oop-
You took that back.
"Sometimes their loudness is just too much," he adds, again bringing you back from a minor heart attack.
"True, but they're still my favourite people," you defend the rest of the boys, shooting a smile at Seungmin.
"Really? Is it not your grandma?"
"Okay, second favourites," you correct yourself, followed by a small laugh.
"Then what about me?" He genuinely asks you as he draws even closer to you, cocking an eyebrow as his head tilts to the side.
Ah, shoot.
"Y-You're on that list, too," you stutter a reply, slowly pulling up your blanket to hide the obvious blush that's come back to expose you.
Seungmin furrowed his brows as his eyes squinted at you, making you nervous to think about what goes on in that mind of his.
"Hm, okay. Good enough," he states, but instead of backing away, he proceeds to lean closer than he already was.
At that time, you wanted to just bury yourself in a hole and never leave.
As he was getting closer, you were starting to lose it. You didn't want to have to face the same situation you faced earlier. It was most definitely not helping you with your little problem about taboo feelings.
I'm gonnna implode.
But just as he was inches away from your face, he raised his left hand up, bringing it up to your forehead.
You were taken aback by the sudden action, making you flinch in your spot, but Seungmin only laughs at you a little before speaking, "You're fever seems to be going down, but you're still pretty hot."
He brought his hand back down, resting it on his lap before asking you, "Are you cold?"
You, still a little shaken from the moment prior, nodded your head slowly, suddenly feeling a rush of cold dash from your shoulders down to your toes.
You watched Seungmin as he removed his hoodie, revealing a white, short-sleeved shirt underneath the thick layer of fabric. As he placed the hoodie on his lap, he grabbed you by the shoulders, pulling you up to sit against the headboard.
He takes the hoodie from his lap, helping you by putting it over your head and pulling your arms through the sleeves one-by-one, "You're so tiny. Look, you even have sweater paws."
Fortunately, all the nervousness and tension you felt earlier was thrown away, now completely forgotten as you focus on Seungmin taking care of you.
"Maybe I should get Changbin's," he mutters to himself, looking to the side as he begins to stand up from your bed, but you stop him before he can go any further.
"I'm okay with this," you speak, presenting him a facetious smile as he pauses in his spot, jumping over to sit beside you on your right.
"Movies?" He asks and you aggressively nod your head, already ecstatic at the thought of it.
"Wait," you say, a little while after you both decided on what movie to watch, "aren't you cold?"
Seungmin only looked at you before showing a mere grin, "Your comfort is more important that mine right now."
"So you are? Then, why did you give me your hoodie?! Here, have it back," you scold him, swiftly pulling the hem of the hoodie up, but he stops you halfway.
"I'm fine, Min. A little cold won't hurt," he tells you, but you didn't want to believe him.
"Idiot. Take the hoodie," you scowl at him, once again, pulling the hoodie off when you felt him yank your arm, causing you to lean beside him and fall into his embrace.
"I said your comfort is more important, Min. And besides, I'd rather have this," he says intimidatingly as you choose to stop.
He wrapped his arms around your shoulders even tighter, resting his head on yours as you both continue to watch the movie playing. It was just another comedy that you've watched over a thousand times from boredom, but you didn't mind watching it again when you had Seungmin beside you.
"I'm still cold," you mumble, hoping that Seungmin had heard you.
"You are?" Seungmin tends to your request, pulling the blanket up higher to about shoulder-level for you as you curl up beside him. "Better?" You slightly nod as a reply.
He breathed out an exhausted sigh every once in a while, and after multiple, you turn to ask him, "You're sighing so much. Are you tired?"
He looks at you reassuringly as you start to play with his bangs, knowing that he loved having people do that small action whenever he was physically tired. "Just a bit."
You continued to play with his hair, and soon he was fast asleep. A smile then laced your lips, the result of taking in his untroubled and carefree condition.
You started to ponder on your emotions as your hand doesn't stop its actions. Having a chance to fully examine his features, you took the opportunity. As he breathed out casual breaths, you could tell he was sleeping with an equanimity, as if nothing could disrupt his quiet nap.
As the minutes progressed, you were starting to feel a bit tired yourself, but that quickly fades as you remember something.
"Did he get my porridge?"
