"Seungmin?" You ask quietly, stepping into your room. Of course, you knew he was awake, you just didn't want to disturb his quiet time.

He hummed in response, lifting his head up to meet you eye-to-eye. And as always, he shot a mesmerizing yet soothing smile, welcoming you into the comfort of your shared room.

"How was songwriting?" He kindly asks, standing up and leading you to the bathroom.

"It was," you pause, taking out your pajamas from the shelves, "something."

Immediately, Seungmin notices the uneasiness in your voice, and quickly questions you regarding it. "Something? Did anything happen?"

He gently laid his hand on your shoulder, and it felt like a warm stroke of relief on your behalf.

"It's obvious when you aren't comfortable, Min. Tell me," he eggs you, running his hands through your silky hair.

"You know, Changbin just seems a little weird today," you start, heaving a long sigh. "He was switching from different moods."

He gave you an intrigued look, signaling you to tell him more about it.

"It went really well at first, and we were talking like usual, but then Chris came," you sigh for a second time, "and after he asked Chris to sing for him, he just left without a word."

You saw how confused Seungmin was, as well, and he did nothing but stand there for a while, in which you grew worried to.

"I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, Min," he tells you, leaving the bathroom so you could change.

"I mean, I didn't do anything wrong, did I? If I did, he wouldn't have talked to me before Chris came," you think out loud, stepping out of the bathroom after having finished changing. Laying on the mattress, you tucked into your sheets, and Seungmin switched the lamplight off.

"Doesn't seem like you did anything wrong. He was fine yesterday," he answers, placing his arm underneath your head for you to rest on. You faced your body towards Seungmin, seeing how tired his eyes looked.

"Go to sleep, Min. I'm probably just dramatizing this," you hush him, giving his hair a push backwards before wrapping your arms around his torso.

"If you're bothered by this, then I can't sleep," he says softly, his voice cracking as his words slowly fade into a whisper. "I'd be a bad boyfriend, wouldn't I?"

He brought his free hand up to your cheek, rubbing his thumb over your dark, under-eye bags.

"You go to sleep. You need it more."

There it was. Your heart melted once again at his caring nature. You just couldn't believe how loving he was. From his eyes, it was clear that all he wanted was a good night rest, but seeing how worried you were over those petty things, he couldn't bring himself to leave you stressing alone in the middle of the night.

He opens his mouth to say something, at the same time, pulling you closer to him.

"I'm not sleeping until you're safe in a dream."

Now, you were in a random cafe, waiting for your orders with Seungmin and Minho. The sun had risen just enough for the joggers to start their daily runs, and surprisingly, there were much customers in the small, breakfast place.

You three had ordered the usual—two, hot cups of americano, and a cold latte. Why were you here? Minho simply invited you two, but his invitation was certainly not welcoming.
