"One more week, please?" You beg into the phone.

"Fine, but you're buying me food when you come back."

"What? You're the one who gave me a heart attack over nothing."

"Yeah, that was the excitement I've longed for," Jungwoo laughs, and a while later, you hang up on him.

"I can't believe we're leaving tomorrow," you groan, laying yourself down on the couch of the common room, savouring every last bit of its comfortable feeling on your back.

You remembered all the hours you would spend after work—lying on this single couch on the same spot; releasing heavy sighs once you felt the soft leather touch your tired back; sitting cross-legged while eating your takeout with your best friends—this couch was definitely one of the many things you were going to miss.

"Neither can I," Changbin sighs, "but I can't even wait to leave for our next trip."

Ah, yes, your next trip. After a while of not talking about it, you kind of just forgot the event, focusing on your last few days admiring the beautiful scenery of the Big Apple.

"Right. Although I love the beach, this place is just so pretty," adds Felix, stretching his arms out to hang on the backrest of the couch.

That, too. Soon, you all found out that Seonghwa was sending you guys to his beach house in Los Angeles. He had told you that no one was using it at the moment, so you guys could take it. He only ever visited that house every spring (which you didn't bother to ask him why since, as Chris says, That's such a Seonghwa thing to do).

"While we're on the topic of beaches, does anyone have a picture of what the beach looks like?" Hyunjin sits up, curiosity taking over his lousy demeanor.

"I don't have of the beach, but I do have of the beach house," Chris speaks, pulling out his phone and some picture cards he probably got from Seonghwa.

"Yeah, apparently, it's a pretty popular place to rent so it's got a lot of pictures on the deep, dark galleries and reviews of the web."

"It's not that deep, Chris."

He gave you a side glare.

"Is that an island?" You hear Seungmin ask as he points his finger to the picture on the phone.

"Island? Like deserted?"

"No, a kitchen island, Lix."

"Oh."

——

You closed the door behind you carefully, afraid to disturb Seungmin's religious quiet time at night. Once you were in, you immediately took off your socks, sliding on your pair of bunny slippers you never forget to wear.

You saw Seungmin on his side of the bed, peacefully reading the book he's been interested in for about a day or two. After having stretched your arms in attempts to relax them, you jumped onto the bed, feeling a little bounce which seemed to have caught Seungmin's attention.

"Why are you wearing a sheet mask?" He asks, placing his book down on his lap.

"Well, I need to take care of my skin. All these sleepless nights are just going to give me horrible acne," you reply, kneeling in front of him with a small smile as he smiles back at your innocence.

Seungmin slowly reached out to give your head a little pat, in which you let him, but as he did, an idea came into your mind. Suddenly, your night just got better.

"You want one?"

——

It honestly took a trifle convincing to get your boyfriend to do it, but eventually, he complied to your requests, simply not being able to resist your asking state.
