The bill was split between the eight boys, well, supposedly. After an intense game of rock-paper-scissors, everyone cheered as the burden landed on Changbin, especially the older ones as you and Jeongin weren't allowed to even join the game since they all agreed that you two should be free of paying.
Benefits of being the younger ones, you know.
And thus, you all proceeded to head out. As Chris suggested that you all do something to kill time, Seungmin made clear that the two of you won't be joining as you had other plans. Obviously, some teasing followed after, but it stopped when you all went your separate ways.
The park wasn't far from where you started off, and in no time, the different food stands were already pretty visible. There weren't plenty of guests roaming around the park because instead, most were crowding the rows of tents, and it looked very much cramped.
Since you didn't eat much earlier at lunch, you were still quite hungry. Softly rubbing your stomach, you frowned at the traffic surrounding the vendors, trying to find an empty space in the massive multitude of hungry people.
"I think it's better that we wait for the crowd to die down before we start food hopping," you suggest to Seungmin, and he nods as you both arrived at one of the benches far from the popular area.
"Sorry, I didn't expect it to be this crowded," he shyly apologizes as he scratches the back of his head, giving you a polite smile. You couldn't stop yourself from feeling bad, suddenly painting yourself as a bad guy when there's supposed to be none in this scene. Sighing lightly, you took his hand and enveloped it in yours, facing him as you started to assure him of his worries.
"I couldn't care less even if we don't get to go. I'm just cherishing the time I have with you," you state, scooting closer and leaning your head on his broad shoulder.
You sighed once again, letting out a deep breath. You could still taste the little portion of the savoury lunch you had with the boys. Wanting to get rid of the now bitter flavour, you craved for anything that could defeat the unsatisfying aftertaste when you saw a small yoghurt stand in the far end of the bazaars. Luckily, you noticed not many occupied that area, so you got up on your feet, earning a hint of confusion from Seungmin.
"Let's get some yoghurt. To, you know, cleanse our palettes before trying the other foods later."
Gladly, he complied and stood up, as well. You both skipped your way to the small booth, impatient to finally get a taste of something within the rows of food stands.
As a gentleman, Seungmin ordered for the two of you (which were just two medium-sized cups of their classic yoghurt). Again, since not a lot of people were roaming around its grass field, you and Seungmin took advantage of it and circled the whole park before going back to that bench earlier. You were pretty much finished with your cup, with only some drops left. Weirdly, there was no bin to throw your used cups in, so you had to hold onto it for now.
Setting your bum down on the wooden bench, you heaved a sigh as you felt refreshed, taking in the soothing summer breeze. But that moment was briefly interrupted by Seungmin's mellifluous voice which just so happened to match the aesthetic of the place.
"There's a bin somewhere over there, but it's pretty packed with people. I'll go throw these away, and you can stay here," he says, reaching his hand out for you to place your trash on.
"Thanks," you smile, but as you handed him your finished cup, the cup tilted, spilling over Seungmin's trousers.
You gasped at first, seeing the sticky liquid land on his garment, but you failed to stifle a laugh when you suddenly got reminded of what happened in the plane.
He stared at you a bit shocked, but you quickly answer that for him.
"It's just that it looks like you peed yourself like last time."
You continued to laugh but stopped as you realized what you said. Turning your focus to Seungmin, you noticed how lost he looked, cocking his head to the side.
"I peed myself? When?"
Minju, you stupid blabbermouth-
You never told Seungmin about what you saw on the plane, which means you never bothered asking if he had really done what you assumed. You just immediately concluded that a grown man had wet himself on an airplane while he was asleep, not really questioning its unlikeliness.
"O-On the plane while you were asleep? I saw the stain on your pants when I woke up," you mumble, now feeling embarrassed for him.
But unexpectedly, he shakes his head to the side, letting out a small scoff, followed by laughter like yours.
"Min, I didn't pee myself."
"Eh?"
He takes a long pause, looking down on his feet before shooting up again.
"That's a story for another time," he murmurs before taking the cup in your hand.
"but did you really think me, out of all people, would pee myself?" He cringes as he speaks, leaving without further talking.
He has a point.
——
"Chris called?"
"Yeah, he wants us to come home," Seungmin informs you, keeping his phone in his pocket.
Frankly, it had only been about an hour after having finished your yoghurts, and you hadn't even begun on the actual reason you guys came here.
Even though you were dangerously starving, and you really did want to spend some alone time with Seungmin, you wanted to go home. You couldn't wait any longer for the crowd to clear up, and you were sure it wasn't going to anytime soon since only more people added to the casual chaos.
And now, you and Seungmin were heading back to the house, kind of in a hurry as Seungmin said Chris sounded a little frantic over the phone. You took this chance to ask him about what he had meant earlier. It didn't seem that big of a deal since what you had speculated wasn't true anyway, so you wondered why he didn't just tell you right then and there.
"So you didn't wet the rat plane?"
He only scoffs playfully, sighing lowly and blinking his eyes rapidly.
"No, Min. I didn't."
"But your palm was red, wasn't it?" You continue to ask.
He silently stares at you for a moment, his eyebrows evidently knitted.
"What's the relation?"
"Nothing. Just something I noticed at the time."
i'm sry idrk wut this is so
