16. "Just making sure you're safe."

Camila walked out of the building to find the Canadian boy sitting at an empty bench.

"You okay?" He asked "yeah, why wouldn't I be?" She asked forcing a laugh out. Shawn could tell that she was lying, just by looking at her face he could tell she was a liar.

"You don't seem okay" Shawn replied looking at her. The girl shrugged her shoulders before stuffing the papers she had in her hands into her bag.

"It was just a lot of information" Camila told him not bothering to look back at him. She began to walk faster leaving him behind making him slightly confused.

"Uh, where do you wanna go now?" The Canadian asked walking up to her "can you just take me home?" Camila asked "yeah, of course" he replied "thanks" she walking over to his bike.

The boy stayed slight behind looking at the Cuban, he didn't want to bother he with anymore questions. It didn't seem like she wanted to talk about or didn't want to talk to him specifically.

Of course she didn't have to, maybe she didn't trust him enough? They only knew each other for about 3 months.
No, she had to trust him, she told him something that she didn't want anyone else to know.

Why the fuck am I overthinking so much? She's not your girlfriend, she doesn't need to explain herself to you.

Shawn thought you himself "you coming?" The tiny brunette called out to him, she was already sat on the motorcycle with the helmet he forced her to wear.

"Why don't you wear a helmet?" Camila asked him "because I only have one and you're going to wear it" the Canadian responded. "I still don't understand why you're making me wear it all of a sudden" she said.

"Just making sure you're safe."

There was an actual reason to why he was making he wear that helmet.

The tiny brunette had fallen asleep again Shawn slowly got up from the bed trying not to make any noise.

The girl had slightly shifted the boy's eyes widen, he hoped she didn't wake up again. Camila reaches over pulling the pillow closer to her.

Shawn left out a small breath, he was glad he didn't wake her up, she deserved some sleep after everything she told him.

He left the room slowly closing the bedroom door behind him. "Is she okay?" He heard facing her mother "She stopped crying, she's asleep now" Shawn replied.

"Since for some reason my daughter likes the more reckless boys" Camila's father said walking up to the boy, Shawn stood there wondering if he was reckless? He wouldn't completely agree with him.

"You're going to make sure she stays safe and she better not end up heartbroken again."

"And since I know she's been on that motorcycle with you she better be wearing a damn helmet."

"Of course sir" Shawn said nodding his head "now that's you understand, get out of my house."

"Thanks for the ride" Camila said once they got it her house "no problem" the Canadian said.

The tiny brunette got off the bike and faced the boy. Usually she wouldn't be home until late at night or they would go on some sort of mini adventure together or something else..

And she would be attached to his lips before she went back inside. Camila didn't kiss him this time, she gave him a smile before giving back the helmet and walking inside.

Shawn sat one his bike wondering about her different behavior. What even happened inside that building to make her act this way.

She's not your girlfriend she doesn't owe you anything anyways.

He thought to himself, but it was still weird. The boy shook his head, he took once last look at the Cuban's house making sure she was safely inside before taking off.

"Did you get everything settled?" Camila's father asked once she entered the home. "Yes and turns out I'm leaving at the end of this month" she spoke nervously.

"Camila!" Her mother shouted "you don't even have anything packed, do you even know where your passport it?" She questioned her daughter "of course I do, it's somewhere in this house" the tiny brunette said.

"You better start looking for it!"

Camila nodded her head head before rushing to her room. Once she found it, she realized everything was becoming so real.

Off to a trip to help her finish her degree, she couldn't help but feel proud. She thought this was never going to happen, but here she was almost done with college.

The first trip alone, no parents, no Emmy, none other than classmates she didn't talk to. How was she going to survive being away from them for so long?

Camila thought about it, until someone else pop into her mind. Shawn, for some reason the thought of never seeing him again made her heart ache.

No, he's going back to Canada and you're going away. You'll never see him again, it's just a summer fling.

Then again in grease what Sandy and Danny had was a summer fling and they found each other again.

You're stupid, that's just a movie.

"Ugh!" Camila let out a groan, here she was fighting with herself, what was wrong with her?

You know the one song in Hercules that goes "I won't say I'm in love" that's you right now you stupid idiot!

You're in love with that boy and won't admit it because you afraid to get heartbr-

"Oh my god, do I ever stop thinking?" The Cuban questioned, none of that was true. She wasn't in love, you can't fall in love with someone in three little months. Or could you?

Nope not possible, she thought shaking her head. The only thing she could think of is if she stayed away from him now, it wouldn't hurt as much as it would in two weeks.

Haven't update in a while, but hiii.

I'll definitely update more after next week because I'll officially be done with high school!

That's weird to say or think about. I'm getting old, oh my god.

Someone throw me a graduation cause I'm not getting one. Just class of 2020 things!

Also currently obsessed with my hero academia.. I'm rewatching it lol. But the dubbed version, sorry lol
