Roxy's POV
"Really?" He said. I thought it wasn't possible for a boy to make a girl not to think straight, but he was doing it just fine as he stepped closer and I didn't move. I didn't threaten him. I was so shocked at the disappointing news : I liked him. In a romantic way. But I guessed it wasn't that bad even though my subconscious repeatedly told me it was, that I was going to repeat the same mistake I had done before but I ignored it. My own heart was beating twice as fast as he started to lean towards me and I closed my eyes ,starting to feel a little light headed because of his scent.............but the moment was quickly ruined by Henry's beeping watch. We both jumped away, I guess startled by the sound and he groaned. He went into the Janitor's closet to talk to Ray and came out with a disgruntled look on his face." Um....Ray wants us all at Junk n'stuff."
"Even me?" I asked.
"Yes." He answered.
"I'll text Jasper." I said. After texting him, we walked outside the school. The awkward silence was killing me so I asked him," Your watch beeps at different intervals at different times. What does it mean?"
"Triple beep is for emergency, double beep is for like normal crimes and single beep is for important stuff in the man cave."
"Oh okay." It didn't take long for Jasper and Charlotte to get to us.
"How come you guys are here? Together?" Jasper asked. He seemed angry for reasons unknown.
"What kind of question is that?" Henry retorted. I could smell the anger they were both emitting.
"Okay guys. I can both smell your anger. Calm down. I don't know why you're angry but if you have to know we met while I was coming from the washrooms and he was looking for Bianca. Then we made small talk." I said calmly. I was kinda understanding what was going on. Jasper liked me too.
"Besides." Charlotte said in an interrogation voice." Why does it matter?"
"It.... It doesn't matter." Jasper huffed and we continued to walk in silence." What was the small talk about?" He asked after sometime.
"I am not answering that question because it's a stupid one. Do you have a problem Jasper, that you need to share with us? Because I hate being interrogated." At the corner of my eye I saw Henry smirk but I continued to stare at Jasper like I was searching his face.
"No." Charlotte quickly pulled me behind for the boys to walk in front of us.
"There's something going on with those two." She said.
"Yeah, I can tell." The walk to Junk n'stuff remained to be silent as we walked along the streets.

"I want you to take this gum." Ray told me.
"And do what with it?" I asked looking at the black and orange gumballs in a tube. Everyone including Jasper was smiling weirdly and I didn't like it.
"Chow it of course." Schwoz said frustratedly.
"If you're trying to say chew, I don't like junk food and gum is part of it."
"Just chew the gum Roxy, God." Charlotte said and I popped one into my mouth. It didn't have any taste. I blew a bubble but when I let it pop, a bright light made me blind for some minutes and I fell to the ground.
"Why didn't you tell me there would be light?" I shouted as I tried opening my eyes and couldn't see a thing." Flashes of light had activated my tiger eyes." I tried reaching for somewhere to grab and stand up but I smelt Henry coming near to help. He helped me stand up and he asked,
