AFTER I SAW LILAC COMPLETELY disappear down the hallway, I closed my door, silently cheering to myself and holding my fists up in the air with excitement.
My heart was still racing so fast, thinking about how far I'd gotten with her today. It was all just...a lot better and less awkward than I imagined it would be, and mostly because I felt so comfortable and at ease with her. Lilac and I got so close today, and it felt so right. Hugging her didn't make me cringe or made me feel uncomfortable at all, and feeling her soft lips on my cheek made my head spin in circles.
I never usually caught feelings for someone this fast, but I was definitely falling a little harder than I should be. That's how it usually went for me—when I found the person I wanted, I wanted them so badly.
But truthfully, I liked Lilac because she also made me feel so confident. I found myself believing that I was the most important man on this planet because of how nice she was to me—obviously it wasn't true and I was sure she made everyone feel that way...but still.
I say around for about another hour after she left, not even sure what to do now that she was gone. But my phone dinged from across the room and I immediately bolted for it in hopes that it was her.

I couldn't help but let a large grin spread to my face.

LILAC ❤️ Who says I'm safe? Had to take out the mafia chasing after me on the way, but I'm fine now.
