Insurmountable Power

"Something just flew out of nowhere! X! What the fuck was that!?"

"It looked like a spear. But to throw it that fast..."

A feeling of fear envelops everyone like tendrils and a dark aura approaches them from the trees. Kaine, seemingly the only one not as affected by the aura, receives what feels like a straight bolt of lightning. Stunned by the electricity now coursing through his body, Kaine tries to override the electricity by explosively discharging energy. With a shout, energy erupts from his body, ridding him of the electrocution. He kneels over in exhaustion as the electricity discombobulated his nervous system. As he begins to recover, he looks up and comes face to face with a man's fist. He gets punched through some trees, separating him from the rest of the team. Luben looks back in the direction that Kaine was knocked into and Zeus looks at him with his interest piqued.

-Zeus gives off an insurmountable aura that fits that of someone claiming to be the strongest. He is seen wearing gold & black gladiator armor and a black robe, with a gladiator's helm attached to his hip. Since he named himself the strongest, he doesn't usually mask his face. Instead, he wears it when he finds someone he dubs his equal as a sign of respect for their abilities-

"So, you're an electrokinetic, like me. I don't sense much of an electric charge throughout your body, but the electricity I do sense is all built up in your kakuhou. You don't even seem like you're worth killing, let alone fighting."

He walks straight past Luben and walks over to Casey. Seth and Hati try to take their stances to fight Zeus together, but as they do they feel the claws of death loom over them and freeze. Trish, coming from behind them, slits their throats, smiling as she does.

"I can't have you boys getting in our way."

She looks at Luben and grins.

"Poor thing. You weren't even considered a threat. You must feel pathetic, huh?"

Being provoked, Luben didn't know whether he should feel scared or angry. He grits his teeth and electricity begins to surge through the air. Zeus stops in his tracks and looks over his shoulder at Luben. Spikes begin to appear on his arms, chest, and back, tearing through his clothes. He rips off his shirt and jacket, revealing his kakuja. His mask begins to glow and charge with electricity and his kakuja grows over it. The kakuja sprouts small, uneven horns on the forehead, with holes emerging on the neck to vent excess electricity. Zeus laughs in excitement as he found a source of possible entertainment. Luben leaps from tree to tree around Zeus, electrifying the air in the area.

"Get back woman, this area is going to be a bit unsafe for you."

Trish makes some distance from them but stays within range for her to observe them. Zeus reveals the hand beneath the robes and puts it in Luben's general direction. He uses electromagnetism to pull Luben over to him and charges his fist with dense electromagnetic energy. He throws a punch at Luben and sends him flying, leaving a trail of destruction behind him. He slams two of the same magnetic charges together and because of the laws of attraction, the enemy gets sent flying in the opposite direction of Zeus' fist.

"Ya like that? 20% was enough to send you that far back? Get back up I'm not done with you."

After a couple seconds pass, Zeus figures that Luben must've been unconscious and walks over to retrieve Casey. As he gets close enough to remove the spear from her chest, Luben lunges at him. Zeus looks at him, smiling like a child who just got a new toy. He goes to swing at him, but Kaine appears grabbing him out of the air. Luben struggles to get loose from Kaine's grip, but Kaine is sick of everyone's shit. He knows that getting Luben to calm down when he's like this will be difficult and they're pressed for time. Electricity was surging through Casey's body and her lung was punctured without room to regenerate, she's dying and if she does then it'll be a mission failure. Therefore, he breaks Luben's neck. He yells at Seth and Hati to wake up and throws Luben's body at them. He tells Seth to put Luben's neck back into place and give him support.
