Constellation Wars

Our story began under the stars on a cold Monday morning, I couldn't see any clouds amongst the many flickering lights above me that are overtaking each other to form a stairway to heaven for all of our loved ones to walk down. I'm pretty sure they are watching the stars with us, maybe sat beside us in the chair we left empty for them to find home in again.

There are so many things happening around us, the world is on fire and people are dropping down left right and centre, the news is full of nightmares and the streets are so vacant, so isolated. Everyone's head is panicked and people are quickly slipping downhill because they are unsure of where to go because they are seperated and the helplines are too busy to call.

So sit back, the constellations are in front of you, shape them with your finger as if you were painting a masterpiece in the sky, paint delicately with your fingertips as your eyes follow them in the direction they choose to jump and when they shoot, wish upon the sky before you and smile, house to house, eye to eye, in a world that is breaking down the sun will always rise at the same time each morning and the birds will sing without a care in the world.

It's the Constellation Wars being fought, so many restless nights and a head drowning in the worry of what is to come next, no one is being clear, but the stars are twinkling without a damn fear as they dance across the sky whilst you are drinking your beer.  They dance to the only sound we need, a sound with less screams and more hope, something to rest our tired eyes on that never fails to amaze, lighting up the sky in the most astounding ways, creating different shapes each night for you to paint on your very own canvas in your imagination to fill your mind with positivity while the world is held in captivity and we are chained to the negativity in our heads where everything dark has settled in.

We are afraid, afraid of whats to come and what has been, we are fearful of all of these big changes but please, focus on the moon that lights up your sky tonight and the sun that shines so very bright causing the dandelions to grow with courage and the wildflowers glittering our grass with the most beautiful colours, focus on the sounds from outside your window, the birds chirping and the owls hooting a calming melody whilst everything else is chaotic.

If you are struggling, remember the smiles on your loved ones faces as soon as you can be reunited, think of the parties and the moments yet to come please do not forget how beautiful life will become,  this is temporary and though it is unclear please remember you matter here. Though the world is out of control, and you feel like you've been swallowed whole please remember you are loved and things will be normal soon, please just focus on that sun and moon.

I Love You.
