Chapter 17

Nico's POV

"Did you lose your memory or something? Harry's the whole reason we're in Scotland in the first place. And you were the one to tell me what a hocrux was," Percy said confused.

"Why the heck are we in Scotland?!" I whisper yelled. I understood not to yell loudly seeing as there were people around us that were asleep.

"Did you really lose your memory? The quest from Hecate? Going back in time for two decades? Do you really not remember?" He asked me.

The fuck?!

"Back in time? What the hell?" I asked.

"Okay. What's the last thing you remember?" Percy asked.

I thought about it.

"Well I went to the Underworld to look for Bianca, and she had been reincarnated, but I found—" I stopped. Shit! I'm not supposed to tell anyone about the fact that there are two camps.

"Forget I said anything."

"Then you found Hazel and took her to camp Jupiter?" He asked.

"Yeah. Did I tell you about that?" I asked confused.

"Actually, Hazel did. Is that the last thing you remember?"

"Yeah. How long ago was that from now?" I asked. "About a year. Well technically it's nineteen years in the future, but yeah. A little over a year," I told him.

It took me a while to process this. After about a minute I asked, "What exactly happened in that year?"

"Well you might remember that after the titan war I went missing," Percy said.

"Yeah, I remember that. I'm assuming that you were discovered."

He nodded. "After I had gone missing, Hera had taken my memory. I was asleep for months before I found my way to Camp Jupiter. I had no memory of who I was. All I remembered was that I had a girlfriend named Annabeth," I couldn't help but grimace a little.

Percy's expression was both amused and apologetic. He couldn't know that I you know... could he?

He continued on explaining about what had happened during the last year up to the end of the war. Had all that really happened? Had I really gone through Tartarus? If so I don't think I want to gain back my memory. I don't think I would want to remember that.

It looked like Percy knew exactly what I was thinking. "If I was in your situation I wouldn't want to remember either. If I could just forget it all and stop the nightmares, I would," he said.

"There's still the part about how we got this quest and what exactly is going on right now," Percy told me.

"Well go on then. I think it would be nice if I knew what was going on."

"Right, so after about a month after the giant war, we were having a normal dinner at camp Half-blood. Annabeth and I had just announced that we broke up and Hecate shows up with Hazel, Frank and Reyna," He said.

Wait, they broke up? "I mentioned the breaking up part, because that way I won't seem like an asshole later on." He said.

That probably means that he got together with someone. I'm sure that you could see on my face that I looked jealous. Percy gave a small laugh.

"That'd be you."

"Huh?" I asked confused. "I did get together with someone. And that'd be you," He said smiling.

I'm dating Percy? I'm pretty sure I was blushing. "Did I say that out loud?" I asked then.

"Yeah," Percy said still smiling. "But anyways, I think we should get on with what exactly the quest was," He said.

"Yeah sure," I said.

"So Hecate got there and told us to get to the big house..." Percy explained everything that had happened so far on the quest.

"So we're here to help them win a war?" I asked.

"Yes."

"And that would be against a guy that has split his soul into several pieces?"

"Correct."

"And his name is Moldyshorts?"

Percy gave a small laugh. "Voldemort," he corrected. "But that's just a name he gave himself. His actual name is Tom Riddle," Percy explained.

Wait. If we're twenty years in the past then wouldn't that mean that Bianca and I are still in the casino? What if I— my thoughts were interrupted by Percy. "Are you okay? You seem deep in thought."

"Yeah. I just, I don't really know," I said.

"Well tell me if you want to talk about it," Percy said smiling. "I will."

We sat there for a long time. We talked about everything until the sun started to rise and people in the hospital wing started to wake up.

A/n I know this is short, but I think that this is a good place to end a chapter. So yeah.
