You woke up the next day, rubbing your eyes. You looked down to see the black and white scarf, which was wrapped around your neck. You remember that Liu had given to you. You certainly remembered last night with the stabbing and that man with the smile carved into his face.
You got up from your bed and got dressed for another day of hell (school). You kept the scarf on while getting changed into your school uniform. The scarf was really soft around your neck and it smelt like cherries. You tied your hair into a ponytail and did your makeup, then made breakfast. (If you don't wear makeup, then make something else up ^•^)
When you got to school, you saw Maya and her group walking towards you. Maya was always the pretty and popular one. The one who got over 100 likes on instagram on some stupid selfie and everyone commenting saying that she's gorgeous. You tried to not get noticed by pulling up your coat hood and walking away. But before you turned away, you sneezed and they looked towards you, you felt your body flood with fear.
"Hey whore!" Maya said laughing. "Where do you think your going?" she and Her group laughed. You immediately ran as fast as you could. You weren't really good at P.E so you ran as fast as your legs could carry you. But then you felt someone grab your hair and tug you to the floor.
Maya stepped on your chest so you couldn't get up. "Aw your trying to run away?" she giggled. "Pathetic". Maya stepped on your chest harder so you couldn't breathe. She looked down at the scarf wrapped around your neck.
"Oh what's this?" asked Maya, snatching the scarf off your neck forcefully. "That's not mine!" you cried. "I'm looking after it for Liu!" You tried pushing yourself up, but Maya pushed you back down.
"Liu? Aww is that an imaginary friend? Tut tut." Maya sneered, ripping the scarf in half.
You didn't say anything but felt your eyes water. She noticed and laughed, throwing the now two parted scarf at your face. One of the girls in Maya's group, called Abbie, crouched down and punched you in the eye, making it black shortly after.
They continued beating you and laughing until you heard a familiar voice from ahead...
