Nothing much to say so here y'all go!

Prepare for your daily dose of disclaimers!

I do not, in any way, own For Honor or any resources that might make an appearance here. If I did, I would make an RPG spin-off game from For Honor.

- Nighttime, four days later... -

Darkness. It is mysterious. It is arcane. It darkens the world around oneself and the average human has a natural sense of caution about it. However, this isn't the case to some of the Samurai.

The Orochi and especially the Shinobi have harnessed the power of darkness to strike with unhindered precision and lethality, using it to their advantage. As such, the night is their ally when others would shun it for they do not understand it.

Moonlight blanketed the lands of Ashfeld around Azai. He stood from a distance and watched as lights flicker from their goal: the Shard. It was an astounding feat to create such a fortification. It wouldn't be far-fetched to say that the Shard will survive for centuries to come. Nonetheless, even a foreigner like Azai looked on with awe, but also terror.

While he is a seasoned warrior and commander, he doubted that he had brought enough soldiers to besiege the Shard. Their army is far too small to make a significant dent in its defenses, or at all. To make matters worse, they are ill-equipped. They may have better warriors, but they don't have the siege weapons necessary, and the nature of the Myre has prevented them from building them or even find use for them.

Still, they have come too far to turn back now, and Apollyon still has to pay for nearly destroying their people, their spirit.

Hojo: "Do you think we did the right thing by coming here?"

Those words. They are the same words he is asking himself. While yearns to make Apollyon pay for her atrocities, Azai cannot sacrifice more than they should. The Shard is impenetrable on all sides, leaving the only option of facing it with an all-out assault, and he doesn't want to take that.

Seeing that his brother isn't responding, Hojo walked closer to him and tapped his shoulder, which earned him his attention.

Hojo: "You weren't moving at all. Is there something wrong?" Hojo asked him. However, Azai didn't reply and only stared at him for a moment before looking to the Shard.

What is there to say? He could respond by saying that he is fine, but then he would be lying to his brother. Eventually, he did spoke up and voiced his concerns.

Azai: "I don't know, Hojo. Did we do the right thing by facing Apollyon head on with a barely organized army? Ayu might be the leader now, but she only put the clans together. We don't even have the strength to take on this demon alone." He replied to Hojo's previous question.

This surprised the Shinobi. He always knew his elder brother to be a confident and great leader. To see Azai be this doubtful estranged him. Yet, Hojo remained calm for they have a real chance at defeating Apollyon, thanks to a certain honourable Knight.
