- Four years after Apollyon's fall... -

Peace.

Peace?

What is it like? Is it tangible or just imagined? Is it strong? Does it last?

Can it lie?

These are questions that (Argen) and many others, Knights or not, asked themselves. Fighting a war that seems to be out of their nature and without purpose felt wrong, but they also felt that it was their obligation to do so. After all, their ancestors waged war for who knows how long. Why should they stop now?

Perhaps it was time to stop the madness. Perhaps it was time to look each other in the eye and see what they have become. Perhaps... it was time for peace.

The Truce of Wyverndale.

Four warriors from the four warring factions have achieved what no one, not even (Argen) have ever had. They by themselves have proven that peace it possible and even made it happen in a much larger scale, and that it only takes the right people at the right time.

No one could believe it. Knights, Vikings, Samurai, and Wu Lin people have met each other, sometimes all at once. Sometimes, it's in Ashfeld. Others happened in Valkenheim, and so on. They have their weapons and armour with them, but none had the intention to kill the other. They talked like compatriots, as if the war had never happened.

In light of this, the Iron Legion had sent Holden Cross oversee the wargames and competitions as well as the possible peace treaty at hand. There is hope, and hope is coming.

Following the the events in Wyverndale, festivals were everywhere. Warriors from all over Heathmoor participated and showed off their skills in various war games. There was peace and happiness in each and every one of their hearts and minds as they told stories, dang songs, and exchanged gifts. It is all going well.

Almost too well.

And the House of Lorderius knows that.

At the present day, another celebration is taking place and Amber along with her officers watched from an elevated position. There on one side, they saw the people of the Knights, Vikings, Samurai, and Wu Lin mingling with each other. On another side, an arena of sorts in which warriors from each nation competed against each other. Some were hurt, but none were killed. All these for the hope of peace.

However, Amber frowned. The Truce is great for everyone, but she is doubtful of it. It happened fast – too fast. She sensed that this 'peace' is only a precursor to something far, far worse.

A Iron Captain soon arrived and spoke to Amber.

"Commander Lorderius. I bring a report to you." The Captain said as Amber turned around to face him.

"You may speak, Captain." Amber said to him who nodded.

"Yes, Commander. The Knights of the Embers have already started evacuateing their forces back to Fireshelf just as you ordered them to do, and the reinforcements from the Green Anchor Navy and the Zephyr Legion have finally arrived in Eitrivatnen." The Iron Captain informed Amber.

Being steps ahead of her enemies as well as her allies, she has ordered contingency plans that she herself drafted to be carried out in case this terrible event happens, whatever it is. She or anyone do not know what it is, and only she along with a few others know better than to be deceived by this false peace.

In order to prepare for whatever it is, she has ordered much of their combined forces to retreat and build stronger defenses along the regions that they hold firmly, but this also leaves their border regions even more susceptible to loss. If her foresight doesn't fail her now, then she believes that this is the right call.
