Snake drops off his car and my guitar before suiting up for a fun ride on his bike. This is gonna be fun. My belly clenches in excitement. "Alright, hopefully you've gone to the bathroom." Snake starts as he passes me a helmet.
"What?" He laughs and climbs over his bike giving me a grin.
"Don't worry about it, come on Red." He pauses, his eyes shifting past me before he releases a muttered curse. "Bastards." I turn unable to help myself watching as a detective flashes a badge at the guards shack, arguing with the Prospect on duty.
"What- what's going on?" Digger moves swiftly across the parking lot, his long legs striding towards the vehicle.
"I don't know yet Red." Snake stands, helmet in hand. Digger pauses, arms crossed over his chest in a menacing stance.
"Why are they here- no one's done; does this have something to do with the past?" I ask, glancing up at him. His brows furrow as Digger looks over his shoulder towards us.
"I'm not sure Red, why don't you stay here." He mutters as he moves over just as Axel comes rushing from the bar, features hardened with a deep glare. He looks pissed.
"What? No, I don't- maybe we shouldn't..." I pause watching the conflict between the men arise.
"Something's up." Snake mutters, moving forward as Crow pauses by the bikes.
"What's with the shields?" He asks, looking at me as Snake heads towards the car.
"I'm not sure." I answer for him, only able to watch the men converse before looking at one another with a look of utter confusion.
"Do you think it's about the investigation?" I look at him lost.
"Investigation? What investigation?" Crow stares at the group for a moment longer before he turns to me.
"Oh- you don't-" He pauses, clearing his throat. "It's a long story; the club ended up helping in busting some dirty cops." Is that what happened with-
"Sarah!" Snake calls with a heavy frown. Oh boy. Crow shakes his head with a sigh.
"Never a dull moment here." He turns towards the club, phone in hand and I watch him confused before I head over to the upset group.
"Yeah?" The man flips open his badge with a frown.
"Detective Hadgen, are you Sarah Jones?" I stare at the short man with a stocky build, blonde hair and bright baby blue eyes.
"Yes... Did I do something?" His brow flickers up before glancing towards the three men with a frown.
"I need to talk with you- down at the station."
"What- why? What's going on?" I ask, looking at Snake who wraps an arm around my shoulders. Digger rubs his temple with a sigh.
"Does she need to go to the station? Is this an official investigation?" He asks and I look up at him. Was Crow onto something? Detective Hadgen looks at him with his lips pursed.
"She's a suspect in an open investigation. I can't discuss details at this time." What?
"Investigation- what investigation? I don't, I didn't do anything." I look at the man with a frown.
"You really need to come down to the station; I'm asking nicely for your compliance." He speaks up again, calmly. What investigation? Axel's phone rings and he answers, stepping away for a moment.
"Do I have to go?"
"I just have some questions for you." I look at Snake who looks towards Digger and Axel.
