"Boys! It's a boy!" Axel's booming voice makes me jerk upright away from Snake. Blinking rapidly I try to orient myself to my surroundings. Right, you're still in the hospital waiting room.

"Congrats man! Is he healthy?" Digger asks as he stands to clap his shoulder in celebration. Axel's face is stretched with a wide proud grin, his eyes glittering with happiness. He looks so happy.

"He's pretty small considering. But with the circumstances it's all normal. We're proud parents to little Eric. He'll be spending some time in the NICU until he can develop more." Snake heads over to his friend to congratulate him. I rub my eyes waking up more as I pull Snake's jacket closer, offering a less than coherent smile.

"You're gonna be a proud Papa when Eric start wreaking havoc. I can't wait till you start pulling your hair out because of him." Snake smirks at him making Axel snort, unable to remove his grin.

"Piss off you prick, your time will come soon enough." He jokes back, making Snake chuckle.

"Congratulations Axel." His eyes meet mine briefly nodding. His eyes practically shine with pride as he steps back, glancing towards Angel's room.

"I'm headed back to make sure everything ok, I'll let ya know when you can come in." He jogs back to Angel's room, shutting the door. I glance out the window seeing the darkness of night, lights on in the parking lot I stare at my truck for a moment. I wonder if Isobella has struck. My eyes wander to the clock and want to sigh. It's two o'clock in the morning. When did we get here?

"She went into labor around what? Three?" Digger asks, pausing with a soft chuckle, shaking his head. "Just under twelve hours of labo. She's one mean mama." He takes his seat again as I stretch dreadfully sitting back in the uncomfortable chairs with their lack of cushion. My back snaps and pops as I stretch. I sound like a smashed bag of chips.

"If I ever have a child, I hope I'm not in labor for long." I don't think I'm as strong as she is. I shake my head, yawning. Exhausted from the hours I spent pacing the room. It finally got to a point where Digger yelled at me to 'plant it' Making Snake threatened him.

'Digger, we might be friends, but talk to her again like that and I'll make you shit teeth.' Their bickering finally made me sit down and proceed to pout. I hate having nothing but time to think. It's the worst punishment as of late.

"I'm making a coffee run, anyone want one?" Digger asks as he stands and I cringe. I hate coffee... I'd die for a tea right now. Coffee makes me all jittery and anxious, and makes my tongue feel funny. Maybe I'm allergic.

"That'll be great, I need something to keep my eyes open." Snake chuckles as he walks over to me, wrapping an arm around me, pulling me to his chest. I lean back against him, dropping my head against his shoulder with a sigh. I want to sleep. We stand in silence as he rubs my side in thought. I wonder what he's thinking about. Snake is rarely this quiet.

"Something on your mind?" I ask, disrupting the silence. He hums, kissing the back of my head, I feel his smile.

"No, just thinking. Do you really want to have children?" I blush and smile at the question. I turn in his arms, nodding.

"Yeah, I'd love to have children, I've always wanted kids. What about you?" His eyes meet mine with a smile before he looks back out the window, observing the scenery.

"I'd love to be a parent, I want a boy and a girl. Two kids is my limit." I laugh at that, resting my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes.

"No offense, but I think that's the world's limit as well. I'm not sure if it could handle multiple trio's like guys." Snake laughs as he rests his cheek on my head.
