It only took a matter of three days since the meeting before Angel took matters into her own hands. Essentially stealing me away for a girls day. Both Snake and Axel threw that plan out the door immediately. I'm not really sure it's safe for Angel to be around me at this point. Considering all the drama surrounding me. Yet here we are at Snake's home. "I'm thirsty, what do you want to drink?" Angel asks as she pushes herself up.

"Don't get up on my behalf. I'll get something later." I watch as Dozer moves around to Luna, Angel's newest pup, playing with her as he keeps racing back towards the french doors. "Do you want to go outside? Enjoy the sun while it's still out." She glances at the great dane puppy before nodding.

"Yeah I think Luna and Dozer would like to stretch their legs." She chuckles as she grabs a glass and some sweet tea, her eyes twinkling as she lifts her glass to me. "Don't tell Axel, he'll be all over me for this." I laugh, nodding my head at her request as I follow after her into the kitchen looking through the cabinets to get a few snacks.

"Your secret is safe with me. Although, I think it's very sweet how concerned he is about you. He adores you." She smiles and nods.

"Don't get me wrong I think it's the cutests, but he's definitely hit the over protective helicopter Dad mode and our baby isn't even here yet." She huffs, before she can look away I catch a pained look in her eyes. She moves to the back door, opening it for the pups.

"He's just trying to keep his family safe from what I can see. I'm sure this is new and nerve wracking for both of you." And another pity party for me. "I'm so sorry for getting you guys in this mess, it's the last thing you two need to be worried about." I grumble, following her with some chips and a water of my own.

Angel waves her hand with a nonchalant chuckle. "Sarah, it isn't your fault that you worked for a crooked man. Besides, we all have demons." She stares off in the distance with a darkening look and a small frown appears on her lips before she mutters mostly to herself. "Some demons just bring friends." I don't know how long we sit there in mostly silence, her staring in the distance or maybe just the past.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask quietly, making Angel jerk as she stares at me in shock, recognition quickly fills her eyes before she blushes.

"Not really... But I'm sure you've had your own questions." She sighs, plucking at invisible lint on her skirt.

"You don't have to- it's your business really. It just seemed like... I don't know, maybe you need to vent?" I question whether I'm looking out for her or just being nosey. Maybe a bit of both.

"I haven't talked about what happened." She starts off like she's trying to convince herself it's for the best. "You've seen some newspaper clipping and articles about the club, right?" Angel looks up at me with a solemn expression.

"A few... I don't understand any of them though. Why?" I turn to face her now, curious where this is going.

"When I was young I was kidnapped from my front yard... by a club in the neighboring town by another MC, the Russian Snakes." She clears her throat, nails digging into her leg briefly before she flexes her fingers.

"Oh my-"

"I was helped by an undercover cop, I managed to escape when I was a teenager, didn't look back." She mutters, closing her eyes briefly, before powering through. "I did my best to heal, avoid everything to do with MC's. Just the sound of bikes would make me freeze and send me to a panic attack. Over time it lessened my fears, while they weren't crippling." I can't open my mouth or form words as I watch her stare off in the distance.
