Ever had that feeling of satisfaction while being isolated from an ocean of people? That feeling where you could be free of doing anything and everything you want without them having to look at you? Because, HECK I love having myself a time of my own, where nobody tells me what to do and what not to.

"Come on, Ryujin-ssi! Please help me this one time!"

Until I met Yeji; an obstinate, annoying brat, who wouldn't stop talking to me about everything that breathes and exist. At most, that's what she seems to me. This girl better find more friends ASAP or I might not fight the urge to yeet her out of our shared room.

"Why won't you do it yourself!? You're this one bubbly, giddily goo who's good at nothing, but talking to me about your nonsense! Why would you need my help, anyway?"

Yeji was actually older than me, but that doesn't matter, though! If only she wasn't so clingy on the first time we met, I wouldn't have been this rude towards her. I mean, who wouldn't hate being hugged by a stranger in your first meeting? We've been friends for a month now, but the feeling of being comfortable around her does not show up at all.

In conclusion to this, she's wierd.

"Come on! You're the only one who could comfortably go talk to her, since both of you are friends."

I didn't know a fool like her could have the urge to hug a stranger on the first meeting, but couldn't find the urge to talk to a friend she met just days ago.

"If I do it for you, promise me you wouldn't bother my personal space ever again,"

"Do you really hate me that much? I mean, what's wrong with making a friend of you?"

"I don't need that. I don't need friends, may it be you or anyone else. Well, I do think 'normal' friends are okay."

"How dull. Your life must've been so boring. No wonder why you only have a few,"

"Shut up! You don't know me!"

Yeji chuckled at my words. This girl be testing me out lately. I just ignored her like what I used to do all the time and continued to stare at my phone, texting my 'friend.'

"Who are you texting? A friend? I'm surprised of knowing you actually had one,"

"Yeah. Because unlike you, she isn't annoying and stubborn."

"Pfft! Whoever she is, I know she'll get tired of you one day, considering that you're adamant,"

"You were the only one who looks at me that way. And this girl you're talking about is actually none other than Choi Jisu,"

Jisu was actually my ex-girlfriend from highschool, but I decided not to tell Yeji about it.

We considered to end our relationship because I wanted to focus more on school and she lost the spark she felt towards me when we were in our fifth month of relationship. We're cool with it, nonetheless.

"Are you meeting up with her?"

I nodded at her question as she got excited of who knows what. This girl's a wierdo. I just hope Jisu won't be startled knowing that a girl like Yeji is having a crush towards her.

"And why are you suddenly excited? It's me who's having a date with your crush. Not you."

"Yah!!! This is like the third reminder I'm giving you today. I'M OLDER THAN YOU, SHIN RYUJIN! You don't have the rights to disrespect me like that."

I sighed at how things are turning around.

"I wouldn't be disrespectful towards you if only you stopped bothering me for the past few weeks, Yeji uNNIE!"

"You know I'm not used to being around with people like you. I didn't know you would grow with much anger towards me,"

"Sometimes, your way of getting to know someone does not work with everyone. Y'know?"

She nodded at me, while chewing on her bottom lip. It seems like she's up for another drama, but . . Who cares? What I'm more anxious about at the moment, is how Jisu suddenly invited me out of the blue.

We'd usually hang around with her friends, but she only invited me today. Is she trying to get me back? What is she up to?

"Okay . . I've made up my mind," Yeji spoke.

"As far of what I've known about you, socializing isn't really your thing," Yeji, I swear to God, if you're going to make me befriend someone I don't like, I won't hesitate to throw you out of the window.

"So . . I decided to stop bothering you, if and only if, you'll introduce me to some friends or anyone else. Even better if it's Jisu."

"You think I would agree with you bothering them as well? Nah, I don't think so,"

"Well, it's not like I can't do it myself. I just want to help you find more friends. You might need them one day."

"First of all, why me? I don't need more friends. Which part of 'I enjoy my alone time' did you not understand?"

"Okay then. It's your choice. Whether you make friends, leave the room or deal with this stubborn brat. It's all up to you, Jinnie."

Smoke began to come out of my ears as I heard what she's planning to do.

"I'll give you some time to think," she said with a smile before leaving me in our shared room. It's like a breath of fresh air, since the moment Yeji walked out of the room.

"I've never had this much space, since that girl came into my life."
