Girls day

The women from my old pack have been living here for about a couple weeks, more pack members have found their mates from the group. I finally got a phone, along with almost everyone else. I don't use it much, but every once in awhile I do.

The spies that we sent to South Shore decided they needed to stay longer to figure out in complete what happened, but it looked like there was a war between some hunters and the pack.

I woke up to the sun seeping through the window. I looked around, Adam's arms were around me. I looked up at him, he was still sound asleep. I grabbed his hand and traced circles on the back of it. Adam flipped his hand and grabbed mine, lacing our fingers. I smiled, looking up at him.

"Good morning." He smiled, his eyes still closed.
"Good morning, how'd you sleep?" I asked.
"Pretty well, your really comfortable." He crawled on top of me and laid his head on my stomach.

I chuckled and ran my hands through his hair. My phone went off, Adam and I groaned. I reached over and grabbed it, Adam didn't move. I looked at my phone and saw a text from Jade. 'Girls day today, we leave at noon!' Jade had texted the group chat we have between me, her, Maria, and Vanessa. 'Why? It's too early!' Vanessa replied. 'I really need a girls' day, please!' Maria said. I had this sense that something was wrong. 'Is this like emergency girls' day?' I asked. 'Yes, now everyone, get ready, we leave in like half an hour!' Jade texted.

"Oh Dios Mio." I sighed.
"What?" Adam looked up at me with furrowed eyebrows.
"Emergency girls day for Maria, I have to go or Jade will skin me alive,"
"I'm gonna use that excuse one day, emergency mate day. It's gonna happen and then I'm gonna have you all to myself."

Adam rolled off me and I got up to get ready. I chuckled.

"I'll be back soon, don't worry," I said.
I got ready and went downstairs, I found Maria in a chair, she looked sad.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Her boyfriend broke up with her." Jade turned to me.
"Oh, Maria."

I sat next to her and hugged her. She laid her head on my shoulder.

"We're just waiting for Vanessa," Jade said.

I nodded.

"Then we can stuff our faces with pretzels and ice cream and junk food from the food court." I looked at Maria.

Maria nodded on my shoulder, then sighed. Once Vanessa came down, we got into Jade's car and went to the mall.

We walked around and ate for a while. We were in a store and Maria was actually enjoying herself.

"Ok, Abby, who's the guy checking you out over there?" Vanessa asked me, pointing behind me.

I turned to see who it was and saw Darren, the alpha from South Shore, the main guy who used to beat me. I immediately turned back around.

"How about we move onto another store, shall we?" I said.

The girls noticed my freaked out and somewhat pissed off expression and agreed to walk away. We walked for a while when suddenly someone grabbed my arm and turned me to them. I looked up at them to see Darren, I tried to pull my arm away.

"Let me go!" I yelled.
"You running away caused the hunters to find us and attack the territory, losing almost all of my people, you are going to suffer consequences." He growled at me.

I was pissed off.

"That is not my fault, if you would've trained the pack instead of partying every day like a sloppy frat house, maybe the pack would've survived, their deaths are your fault," I growled back at him.
"Let her go!" Maria stepped up.
"Not without her punishment first." Darren pulled me towards him.
