I shut my eyes tightly and laid my head on Adam's chest.

"Get everyone who's been training well outside, everyone who is unable to fight goes into the safe room, especially women and children. Anyone who's injured while fighting will come back here and go into the safe room." Adam said.
"Abby!" My parents and Adam's parents ran down the hall.

I looked over.

"Come on, we need to get you, girls, into the safe room," Adam said.

We went upstairs and to a safe room. It had windows but they looked like hurricane glass, even if someone was thrown at one of those, they wouldn't break it. I looked up at Adam.

"Be careful. Come back, I still want to marry you." I said.
"I'll come back, it'll be over soon. I love you." Adam held his head to mine and kissed my lips.
"I love you," I said when he pulled away.

I sighed and walked into the room. Adam, Kyle, Dad, and Andres all walked down the hall. I sat at one of the windows with Jade, Mom, and Karyn. More people started to come in and Tahlia and Ava sat with us as well.

After everyone who couldn't fight was in the room, they shut the door and only opened it to let in the injured.

It felt like hours had gone by and all you could hear was fighting outside and talking in the room.

I was laying on Jade, looking out the window. I wasn't looking at the ground, I was looking at the tallest trees and the sky. Tahlia was laying against my side and my arm was around her, Ava was sitting in front of Tahlia and they were talking. Mom was in front of me next to Karyn. Mom was singing and Karyn was humming along. I rubbed my stomach, I couldn't really feel the twins. It suddenly felt like I was peeing myself. I sat up and looked at my legs.

"What?" Jade asked, sitting up behind me.

Tahlia sat up and turned and Mom stopped singing and looked at me.

"Either I just lost control of my bladder or.."
"She's in labor!" Mom yelled.

My eyes widened and I looked at everyone.

"Hayes!" Karyn yelled over to Hayes, who was patching up an injured warrior.

Hayes quickly walked over, Tahlia and Ava moved.

"My water broke," I said.
"Ok, I'm gonna grab my things. Time how far apart each contraction is." He said.

I nodded and Hayes quickly walked across the room to grab his things. I felt a painful pressure run through my stomach. I grabbed Jade's hand a groaned.

"Breathe." Jade rubbed my arm.
"Should we call the guys?" Mom asked.
"No, they need to focus out there, I don't want them distracted," I said.

'Abby? Are you alright?' Adam asked through our mind link.
'I'm fine, just the twins worried about you.' I told him.
'It's almost over, I'll be back soon.' He said.

The contraction finished and I sighed.

"Adam said that it's almost over, we can wait to tell them. Right now it's just contractions." I said.

Hayes walked over and started setting up. Some of the others set up some blankets and pillows between windows and Hayes had me lay there. He stuck an IV in my arm and put a monitor around my stomach. Another contraction hit and I groaned, feeling the pain was worse this time.

"I can't give you an epidural, your metabolism is just gonna burn right through it seeing you're an Aura," Hayes said.
"So I'm doing this without anything?" I asked.
"I'm sorry." He said.
