Abby's POV...

A year after the War to End All Wars, Adam and I decided to do what my parents tried. We had one huge meeting with hundreds of prides from all over the place. We told them our story, we showed them that many of the women in the pack, me included, were Auras. We proposed a peace treaty, that we would benefit from each other, and if there were any problems between prides, they would be talked to through an understanding.

The twins are a year old and Jade had a little boy a couple of months ago. The twins were very playful and gentle around the older kids that would shift and play with them.

Adam and I haven't shifted in front of them yet, and right now they were outside playing with Tahlia and Ava. Ava was still in her human form watching and Tahlia was in her lion form, on her back with the twins on top of her. The twins were playing with her paws. I walked outside and sat next to Ava.

"They are very interested in her paws," Ava said.
"Her paws are about the size of them so I'm not surprised." I chuckled a bit.

Tahlia shot her head towards me and I laughed a bit. The twins slid off of Tahlia and crawled to Ava, Tahlia immediately jumped on me.

"Hey! You know I'm right!" I joked.

Tahlia laid on me and let all her weight start to crush me. I groaned.

"What did you say this time?" Adam walked out.
"That her paws are huge," I said.
"I mean, you're not wrong." He said.

Tahlia groaned and got up a bit, then dropped herself on me again. I groaned and laughed.

"If you don't get off me I will throw you," I said.

Tahlia tilted her head a bit. I shifted and pushed her off me. She landed a couple of feet away from me and rolled. I got up and smiled.

"Mama!" I heard the twins.

I looked over and smiled. I walked over to them, they ran their fingers through my fur that they could reach.

"Pretty Mama." Juno laughed.
"Damn, I've been trying to get them to say dada for forever!" Adam walked over.

I stuck my tongue out at him. He chuckled. Suddenly I heard something snap in the woods, Tahlia automatically got into a fighting stance, I turned towards the woods and looked around. I smelt a familiar scent. I looked around. I saw Alex and Mateo. My eyes widened. Adam ran over and gave me his shirt. I shifted back and slipped it on.

"Abby?!" Alex looked at me.
"Alex, Mateo, what are you guys doing out here?" I asked, looking at them.
"We wanted to show Elena the forest, we got lost and just started wandering. But you, you were just that thing. What the hell?" Alex and Mateo were looking at me shocked.
"I did not want you to find out like this, this is the first time the twins have seen me like that as well," I said.
"We can explain everything," Adam said.
"How can we trust you won't hurt us or anything?" Alex asked, hugged the baby to her chest.
"If we wanted to hurt you, Alex, we probably would have already. But we haven't and we like having you as friends." I said.
"Just come inside, we'll explain everything," Adam said.

Alex looked at Mateo and they nodded. We walked them inside and to Adam's office, I put some more clothes on, then walked into Adam's office.

We explained everything to Alex and Mateo, they took it better than expected to be honest.

"We always had dinner at your house because we thought someone here might slip up," I told them.
"Understandable, having so many people here," Alex said.
"So, that's why we didn't hear from you those weeks that the twins were born?" Mateo asked.
"Yeah, we were handling so much with very bad people we didn't want you guys to be caught up with that and possibly get hurt," I said.
"You guys are like our first human friends, we aren't used to having to keep this secret from someone close to us," Adam said.
"Plus we didn't think you would be wandering in the woods near our house," I said.
"Well, it's nice to finally see your house," Alex said.

I chuckled a bit.

"Are you mad we didn't tell you?" I asked.
"No, it's very much understandable." Alex walked over and hugged me.
"But I do want to see something." Alex looked at Adam and Mateo.

She turned to me.

"What are you plotting?" I asked.
"You think Elena would be scared of you?" She asked.
"Depends," I said.
"You seriously want to test this?" Mateo sat up.
"I trust her," Alex said.
"The twins are still out black playing with Tahlia. It couldn't hurt." I said.

We went downstairs and I went around a corner and undressed, then shifted. I stretched. I walked out.

"Mama!" Juno smiled.

I walked over to the three children in the grass and Juno and Jack ran their hands through my fur. I laid down and looked at Elena. She was looking at me shocked. I laid my head down on my paw and she smiled a bit and laughed. I stuck my tongue out and she laughed.

"Pretty." She said.

I smiled. Jack hugged Elena and I smiled.

"Looks like Jack likes her," Adam said.
"When do they shift?" Mateo asked, looking up at Adam.
"Usually it's around the ages of 12 to 14," Adam said.

I rolled over and the three children laughed, looking at my face that looked squished on the ground. I saw Tahlia in the corner of my eye, she was still in her lion form, she was laying on Ava's lap. I rolled back over and looked at the twins and Elena. I laid my head on Juno and Jack's lap.
