I heard a sigh of relief as Calum answered his phone.
"Brooke..." He whispered.
"Hello." I squeaked.
"How are you? Are you ok?" He asked.
"Y-yes. I'm ok." I replied.
"Yourself?" I asked chewing on my finger nails.
"If I'm honest...not too good" He mumbled.
"Look..." We both said at the same time making both of us laugh.
"You first." I whispered.
"I'm really sorry...-" He started and I could hear the lump in his throat.
"...About everything. I have completely screwed up and have lost all your trust. I don't know what came over me last night and to not believe you over someone like Georgina was just diabolical. I know we only met a few months ago, but I really, really like you Brooke."He finished.
"I really, really like you too." I smiled.
"You do?" He gasped, almost as if he was surprised.
"I never stopped really, really liking you." I admitted.
"Look I have to go but I'll come round after band practice." He rushed and I could tell Luke was tapping his foot by the front door, signalling that they were going to be late for practice.
"Sounds good." I smiled.
"I'll see you soon then, okay." He whispered.
"Okay." I whispered back.
