He's right you know... Albert? No, the young one. Infatuation from hell for you, ring any bells? Ransom. Yes, that one. About what Nick? You never explain. Must I always? Fine, he's right about you being able to escape. Why would I? Albert would hunt me to the ends of the Earth, and you know it. It's not like I'm asking you to kill him Precious, however the offer is on the table... Nick, no. But he trusts you darling, if you'd only take advantage like every other normal person. You know why I can't. Because of your lust? Please, I've seen it all before... I've lived through it. If you'd choose, I'd shut up you know? Shut up sooner rather than later if you don't mind.
"Anastasia?" I glanced over at Martin who stares at me with a bewildered expression. I peered at my surroundings with a raised brow, "Everything..."
"Fine," I said before he could finish. I didn't even realize I was here... How does one forget traveling all the way to a secluded lab to be interrogated, I mean questioned. That would be the cause of your focus placed elsewhere.
"Is he speaking with you?" Just tell him you're insane, it's what he wants to hear. Tempting, would it sate your stupidity? I am an empty casam that can never be satisfied. Pity.
"No, just lost in my head. What did you ask me?"
"Nothing at all, in fact, I was waiting for you to speak first. It has been," he glanced down at his watch, "Twenty minutes since you came into the room. You sat down, I said nothing... nor did you."
"And just what exactly do you expect me to talk about?" I simpered with a roll of my eyes. Careful Precious, wouldn't want you turning into poor little me. "How every day is the same, each hour slurring together because I can't sleep? Or maybe how Nick refuses to stop talking, and just keeps... mining away at my sanity. Maybe I should talk about Wesker, we're not friends but we're something more than that. Would you like to hear about how miserable I am, yet I couldn't be more calm?" I glared at him before closing my eyes with a shake of my head, "What in the hell, do you want me to talk about?" I peered back at him as I opened my eyes, "There's nothing to say Martin."
"I didn't realize how bad it was becoming, I knew your nightmares were getting worse..."
"Are we done?" I interjected, not caring to hear what he has to say.
"Sure," he sighed. I got up, and left without a second glance or muttered phrase. My feet dragged me to the elevator as it opened, I smirked as I leaned on the frame.
"Well, what do we have here? A liar, and Ransom," Alan narrowed his gaze at me with a scoff.
"One of these days..."
"You'll do what? Kill me?" I simpered, "Use the whole clip, and you still couldn't save me from this hell dearest." Alan raised a brow at me with a deep sunken frown at my phrase as my eyes turned to Ransom. "How is everyone treating you?"
"As you can imagine," he held up his hands, shaking his hands back and forth to point out the handcuffs on him. My gaze shifted back to Alan who just shook his head before I threw him a glare that probably terrified him to his core. Without a second to lose he took the handcuffs off of Ransom, "Thanks."
"No problem," I stepped into the elevator. "Where are you boys off to anyways?"
"Taking subject..."
"Ransom," I growled, "His fucking name is Ransom. Call him a damn subject one more time I swear to god..."
"To his cell," Alan finished.
"Take your mask, and get lost," I commanded causing him to leave, head shaking as he muttered phrases under his breath. "Nice day isn't it?" I smirked a little wider as Ransom stood beside me with a complex look, and uncertain smile.
