~Short note~ Welcome back! I hope you are enjoying the story so far. I hope to write a few chapters a day. Each chapter is going to progress slowly because I don't want to rush much. Anyways, enough wasting time! Also, a big shoutout to blackwidow620! Baiiii~

And so, you had returned to your house safely. Naruto was already sleeping, thankfully, and you didn't want to stay up late. So, you headed to bed.

5 AM. Soft chirping of birds. The sunlight pouring through the window. The sky and soft, puffy white clouds. It's beautiful. It's amazing. The pinkish-orangeish sky was gorgeous. To watch the sun awaken with you. Inexplicable joy.

You headed to the kitchen, grabbed a bowl, poured in some milk, and covered it with cereal. It was a perfect day to train. Not a moment to waste.

Just a normal day in the leaf village, for you at least. Awake at the crack of dawn, quickly get ready for the day, and heading out to train.

What day is it today...Oh. Friday. You smiled. Mail day. You headed to the compound to collect your mail. It was a long walk, for your last name was one of the last. Naruto...and Miteri. There we go. You grabbed your mail and headed back to your apartment.

Usually, you wouldn't get much mail. You had no relatives and your few friends lived closeby. Today, there were a few sheets of paper for Naruto relating to school, which was normal, and a thick package for yourself. Odd.

Well, there was really nothing you could do but wait. As you jumped through the window, you were greeted by Naruto.

"Nee-Chan!" He exclaimed. "Goooood morning!" Bright and happy, like he always was. You gave him a warm hug.

"Someone is up early, huh?" You smiled. "Alright, here's your mail. Get ready quickly, you should get to school early so you can train! Your graduation exam is in a week, is it not?"

He gratefully accepted the papers and ran back to his room (Thanks, Nee-Chan!)

You sighed and smiled at his boisterousness. Alright, now you had to check your mail. Your fingers slid underneath the seal of the envelope and you quickly opened the top. Out came one piece of paper, filled with lots of tiny words. Man, this was going to be a pain.

You started at the top.

To: Miteri Hayashi Uzumaki

Dear Miteri,

It has come to our attention that your training has not come in vain. Your talents and progressive strength have not been unnoticed. We have thought about any position that we may give you, and you could obtain and fill out easily. We also believe that simple positions such as guarding the village or carrying out miscellaneous duties have already been taken care of. Since you are in the progressive stage between Chunnin and Jonin, we have decided to raise you to assistant Jonin. Your position shall be assistant to a teacher of Genins. Of course, you can always ignore this message and continue on your current path, but we believe that this path will be the most beneficial to you.

Thank you for your consideration.

That was...something new. I was in complete shock. Me? Jonin Assistant? This was fantastic! This opportunity! Of course, I would accept. I would get to help teach Genin! Wasn't that amazing?

I smiled and signed the envelope, ran back to the post office, slipped the package, and grinned. Turning around, my smile grew wider.

"Kakashi!"

                                                                       ~End of Chapter 2~
