You heard a thunk coming from Naruto's room. 4 am. You frowned, reaching for your hairband in order to tie your unkempt hair up. It was all over your face. As soon as you managed to tame it, you rushed into his room. At first, you didn't notice anything. That was it. His bed was completely empty. But as you looked closer with the small rays of light coming through the blinds, you saw Naruto lying on the ground, as if nothing had provoked him. It was clear to you know. He had simply rolled out of bed.
These types of small, simple things were what startled you the most. You would think...was that noise from the kitchen a group of villains after Naruto? Were those footsteps the path to your death? It was idiotic, sure, but nevertheless annoying. It was good sometimes. It was good to be a vigilant ninja. Surely it was just anxiety.
You smiled at Naruto's figure on the floor. You picked him up, gently, placed him on the bed, and covered him up with a blanket. He was adorable. Too precious to handle.
Your eyes began to close slowly as you trudged to your room. You had to be ready by 7. Maybe you could sleep for a little bit more...
(Morning)
"HEY! WAKE UP! Ugh, can't believe I'm the one waking you up this time." You sprung up in shock, tumbling the covers everywhere. The first thing you saw when your eyes adjusted to the blinding light was Naruto's frown. "LETS GO! We have our first mission today!" He threw his fist in the air. As soon as you stood up and balanced yourself out, Naruto turned around and walked out of the room, hands on his head. First mission, then.
Sorry for the totally super small chapter. But I didn't want this to be part of the next long chapter, I jut wanted to get straight into ittt! So I've been kind of busy even though I'm on summer break. So sorry. I'm doing debate class, which takes up hours of the day with minimal breaks, and then I have to do other work where I can't access the iPad or computer. And I can't write from my phone cause it's blocked there. Anyways I'm trying to pace the story a bit faster now, but it all depends on what you guys want. So, please, chose whether you want it to be fast or slow paced. Also, sometimes I have zero motivation to write, so yeah. But I try to keep my rank. Au Revoir.
