The moment I awoke Friday morning, I immediately wanted to power off again. It's been four minutes and thirty-five seconds and all I've done is lie on my back. Taehyung is in the shower right now, getting ready for a day of hard work. Normally I would be out of bed by now and in the kitchen, picking out the fruit I want to include in his smoothie. But with the way things ended last night, part of me wonders if it would be wise for me to greet him. What if it just ruins his day before it's even started?

"If I don't do my job, he's gonna leave without eating anything," I mutter to myself. "At the same time, I don't feel like having a smoothie thrown at my face this early in the morning."

At this point, I have about two more minutes to make a decision before the brunette comes out of the shower. The image of a starving, weak Taehyung is what had me springing out of bed, finally cracking under the pressure. I marched down the hall to the kitchen with purpose, dead set on locating the blueberries and raspberries. I grab the desired fruit along with some milk and yogurt and add everything to the blender, starting it to create my rushed masterpiece. The finished product is added to Taehyung's tumbler, just in time for me to give it to him.

The brunette walks into the kitchen as I'm screwing on the lid. The tiredness in his eyes is blinked away, quickly being replaced with astonishment. He stares between the drink being held out to him in my hand and my face, trying to make sense of this situation. It doesn't surprise me, though--he probably didn't expect to see me this morning.

"Here's your breakfast," I say with a smile, shaking the tumbler slightly.

"You...I...thank you," he replies, a look of puzzlement on his face as he accepts my gift.

"Have a good day at work!" I turn around to start cleaning the blender. When I don't hear Taehyung walking away, I glance over my shoulder to see him still standing in the same spot, staring at me, dumbstruck. "Is everything okay? Aren't you going to be late if you don't leave soon?"

This seems to snap him out of his trance. He shakes his head and wipes his hand over his face, clearing his throat. "Yeah, I should go."

"Of course. I'll see you when you come home."

Taehyung walks out of the kitchen but, not even a second later, pops his head back in. "Also, Jimin said he'll probably be coming over around two or so. I'm gonna try to make it home around then."

I give him a thumbs-up before waving goodbye, returning to the task of cleaning the blender. It's not too long after that I hear the door open and close, indicating Taehyung's departure. A proud smile stretches across my face and I can't help the giggle that escapes me. He looked so bewildered, it's definitely a memory worth keeping. In fact, I think I'll save it as one of my favourites.

"Hi! I come bearing gifts!"

Jimin is one of those types of people who have a very contagious smile. It completely lights up the room and radiates genuine happiness. Just seeing it makes all my worries disappear, a smile of my own forming on my face. I eye the Tupperware container in his arms, full to the brim with something unidentifiable.

"What did you bring?" I ask, tilting my head slightly.

"Brownies! I made them last night so I hope they're still good. They're Taehyungie's favourite--of course, he would ever admit that but I can tell he really likes them," Jimin answers with a wink.

I accept the delicious desserts from Jimin and set the container down on the counter, opening the lid to take a look at the products more clearly. They're very well made, evidently the results of someone who is very meticulous and passionate. Each of the brownies have been shaped into perfect squares, corners sharp and even, with a squiggly but precise line of chocolate glaze drizzled on top.
