Chapter 1

The sun was shining in the afternoon's sky and in Maheshwari's Mansion the sound of laughter was echoing in its hall.

Annapurna and Sujata were sitting there and were talking to some neighborhood's women and laughing with them.

Lady: To Annapurna Ji.. jinkey liye ham yaha aaye hai.. unsey nehi milwao ghi??

Annaurna smiled: Arey ji zaroor.. - she looked at the stairs and Parineeta was coming down.. - Arey Parineeta beta.. Ragini aur Swara kaha hai? Zara bula kar lai kar aana?..

Parineeta: Maa voh dono abh bacchi nehi hai.. khud kai pair hai.. aa jaye ghi..

Annapurna was about to say something but Sujata stopped her: Arey rehne do Jiji.. iskey mu kya lagna.. yeh chori to abh yeh bhi nehi dekhti ki mehmaan ghar mai aaye hai!

Parineeta made a grimace and went away.

Sujata saw Uttara coming with Rajat: Arey Uttara asha hua tu aa gai.. chori zara yeh Swara or Ragini ko lai kar aana.

Uttara smiled: Ji Maa.

Rajat folded his hands: Maa, Badi Maa... mein chalta hu.. zara office ka kaam hai..

Annapurna and Sujata smiled nodding.. Rajat left.

Lady: Sujata ji... aapka damaad aapkey sath kyu rehta hai?..

Sujata: Voh..

Uttara who was about to go upstairs stopped hearing this: Voh aunty ji... Rajat Ji kai parents chahte hai ki voh family business mai hath bataae... lekin Rajat khud apney pairoon mai khada hona chahta hai... to usne faisla kiya hai ki jab tak voh apne Maa Papa ko dikha nehi daita ki voh yeh kar sagta hai voh ghar vapis nehi jayega...

Saying this she ran upstairs...

After a while..

Uttara came on the top of the stairs: Yeh lo Maa.. Swara Bhabhi aur Ragini Bhabhi hazir hai.. - she laughed lightly.

Everyone looked at the stairs.

Swara and Ragini came downstairs... both had a big belly.. all smiled looking at them.

Swara and Ragini came towards the guests and greeted them folding their hands..

An old lady blessed Swaragini putting a hand on their heads: Khush raho.. sach mai Annapurna... tumari dono bahue bohat sundar hai..

Annapurna: Ji yeh to hai.. abh jaldi sai voh pal aa jaye jab is ghar mai inkey jaise hi sundar bacchoon ki ghar mai hasi sun ne ko miley ghi..

Ragini: Maa aap yaha hi bethiye.. ham chahe lai kar aate hai..

Sujata: Arey nehi chori! Tumhe to araam karna chahi hai! Tumhe bhi aur Swara ko bhi.. aisi halat mai yeh kaam vaam karna asha nehi hota... bhulo mat ki abh khud kai sath sath tum dono ko apney pet mai jo bacchey hai unka bhi khayal rakkhna hai!

Ragini: Arey chachi ji.. bas chahe ki hi toh baat hai... ham abhi gaye aur abhi aaye..

Sujata was about to stop her but Ragini rushed away..

In kitchen..

Ragini was making tea: Arey.. chini?!.. shaid.. upar... - she looked up at the cupboards - lekin yeh to zyaada hi upar hai.. kya karu...

She looked around and just then she saw a stool: Haan... yeh thik rahe ga...

She placed the stool in front of her.. and was about to stand on it when...

A voice shouted: Raginii!!!

Ragini turned and saw Laksh standing at the door and looking at her with big eyes..
