WuJi's huge eyes almost pop out of their sockets, "Oh no. Meara, we have to get to work as soon as possible!" he squeaks.
"Mn." Meara agrees, but before she can say anything more, her stomach growls once again.
WuJi chants a spell and the magic window appears behind Meara, "Go now, I will wait for your return." He suggests.
Meara looks at the window and something occurs to her, "WuJi, you said that you need to catch fish every second day, right?"
WuJi nods.
"Have you ever had fish fingers?" She enquires.
"Fish fingers?" WuJi repeats, and scratches his head, "I have never come across a fish who has fingers... strange... " He muses.
Meara giggles, "Aigooo WuJi, fish fingers is a dish that we humans make with fish. It's very yummy."
WuJi lets out an embarrassed chuckle, "Hehe, no I haven't ever had any."
"Okay..." She trails off before smiling at WuJi once again, "I will see you very soon."
With that said, she goes back to where her parents are waiting for her.
"Hey sweetie, we were thinking about spending the day on the beach today. What do you think?" Mayura enquires.
Meara gushes, "I would love to, Amma."
Just then, breakfast arrives and the family enjoy a hearty meal.
Once done, Som calls the reception and the plates are taken away, the three of them get dressed to spend the day at the beach and leave the room on foot to walk towards the beach, that's just three hundred meters or so away.
On arriving at the beach, Som selects a spot and pitches the huge beach umbrella. In the meanwhile, Mayura spreads a beach towel under it.
"Mayura, don't you want to accompany us for a swim?" Som urges, but Mayura shakes her head, "You guys go ahead, I just want to chill here."
Som nods understandingly, Mayura has never been the adventures type. Her definition of having fun on the beach was to lie down under an umbrella and read a good book.
As her husband and daughter rush towards the sea, Mayura waves at them and immerses herself in her current favourite mystery novel.
An hour or so later, Meara and Som return, and join Mayura under the umbrella.
"Had fun?" Mayura enquires and hands them some refreshing lemonade.
You see, having fun is important, but staying hydrated during summertime is equally important as well, and Mayura knows that. That is why, she had ordered for, and kept the refreshing drink ready for them.
After enjoying the drink, Meara requests, "Appa, can you help me look for snail shells?"
"Sure," Som agrees, "In fact, why don't we do it right now?" He suggests.
Meara smiles impishly, and stands up, "The first one to find it gets a wish!" She challenges, and runs towards the nearby cluster of rocks with Som closely running behind her, yelling, "Someone cheated!"
