WuJi cocks his head to a side, mimicking Meera's actions and asks solemnly, "Is something wrong?"

"On the contrary," Meara answers, "Let me read it to you."

Now you are at the end of the book
Hope you found, for what you looked.
Precious is time, there is none to spare.
Get to work, WuJi and his dear human friend.

Scurry Surry...hurry hurry
Your opponent is totally not furry.
With a jaw full of spiky teeth.
His favourite meal,
Is a human child's soft squishy meat.

Oh Merry, children of water,
You are about to enter
An ancient mythical kingdom that is hidden forever.

Thread with care, in mystical water,
You never can tell,
What you will encounter.

WuJi scratches his head and shrugs his shoulder, "It sounds like a badly written poem... Just like the rest of the book. What did you find strange?"

"WuJi, your name is mentioned here... and look" Meara points at the words 'Merry Children of water' and gushes, "WuJi, that's a rough translation of my name. Meara means, Merry and lake, and of course, I am a child."

"Oh!" WuJi exclaims in amazement.

"WuJi, if you don't mind me asking, do you remember anything about your world? You said that your mommy gave you this book when you got separated from her, but why was she carrying this book in the first place?"

WuJi pouts, "I wish I could tell you...I wish I could remember." The baby dragon says, in a strained voice on the brink of tears.

"It's okay WuJi, I understand." Meara comforts her friend with a hand on his shoulder, and after WuJi has calmed down enough, she claps her hands like the teachers do, when they are ordering the unruly kids around, and yells. "Now, let's get to work, soldier."

Looking at Meara's theatrical actions, WuJi bursts out laughing and snorts. Which causes Meara to break her character and she too starts laughing.

After a few minutes of laughing uncontrollably, both of them calm down and 'Get to work'.

WuJi brings his mother's emerald from the drawer next to his bed and puts it in a small wooden cup.

Meara passes a small bottle of water that she had brought along with her from the restaurant, "Here, add this water."

WuJi adds the water to the wooden cup, but nothing happens.

"Let's give it a few minutes," Meara suggests, and they sit staring at the cup for a few minutes, waiting for something....anything to happen.

After a few minutes, when nothing happens, Meara looks at the poem listing the list of ingredients again.

"Aigoo WuJi, we forgot to add the snail shell." The little girl blurts out and rectifies her error.

As soon as the shell touches the water, it starts to bubble but almost immediately, it stops.

"Now what!?" Both of them exclaim at the same time, feeling frustrated.
