"Seonghwa! What are you doing?!" A voice screamed out, yet they seemed to be underwater. Come to think of it, everything sounded as though it were underwater. Your eyes edged open ever so slightly. Someone was holding you, an arm hooked beneath your legs and beneath your shoulder blades.

You could only pick up on a disjointed image of some sort. Anything presented in your view had a double to it along with an extended blur. Had you been drugged?

"I'm taking her home, San tried to bite her," The man who holds you speaks up. His bitter tone a stark contrast to the muffled sounds of his speech.

You want to say something— to ask what is going on but you find you don't have the ability to open your mouth or produce any comprehendible words.

"She's waking up," The other male who you don't recognise yells out harshly. The man carrying you comes to a brief halt as he seems to be looking down at the fact that you are slowly gaining consciousness.

"That's impossible, I dazed her to be out of it for at least eight hours. It's only been fifteen minutes," You feel a hand roughly grabbing your chin as your head is tilted upwards to make eye contact with a piercing red stare. The next moment you feel a damp cloth covering your mouth and nose. You don't have the energy to scream or retaliate and you just breath in the fumes.

"Don't hurt her, Jongho," Is the final thing you hear the man holding you say before the abyss sucks you in once more.

The abrupt ringing of your phone roused you from you sleep state. You slowly open your eyes to see you've been dressed into your normal nightwear— some shorts along with a button up shirt.

That's when some of the memories from the previous nights events start to flood into your mind. More than anything, the piercing red gaze which infiltrated your vision multiple times.

You reach over to grab your phone, scowling as you see your ex's name flashing up on the screen.

"What do you want?" You answer in a snarky tone. It was way too early for anyone to be calling you, let alone your ex boyfriend of two years who you would be more than happy to never talk to again.

"Did you just wake up?" He asks through the line. You sigh heavily, adjusting your position in the bed to be seated.

"Yes, Axel, it was a big night," You exclaim. "Now if you don't mind, I'm going back to sleep." Just as your finger hover over the button to hang up, you hear him yelling out for you to wait.

Placing the phone to your ear once more, you mutter a continue before waiting for him to speak. Whilst sitting there you start to realise how cloudy your memories are regarding your return to your apartment.

Again, those eyes— they were the final thing you saw before you blacked out. You'd only had one drink so surely it wasn't because of your alcohol intake.

"I saw you leaving Wonderland with San last night," Axel remarks, his tone cautious as though he were afraid of setting you off.

"Are you seriously calling me because I went home with another man? We've been over for five months, I can live my life how I want," You feel yourself only growing further agitated. You're so quick to anger that it barely clicks for you that Axel knew this man's name.

"Good to see you still get angry at the drop of a pin," Your ex sniggers softly. "That's not why I'm here Y/N. I wanted to check in on how that went. Did he hurt you? Are you okay?"
