Whilst Seonghwa had failed to gain your trust on multiple attempts, he certainly had earned the respect of his people. They all watched him, eagerly listening to his words as though he were some kind of God. He didn't even need to be talking with any relevance to the subjects who watched as people stood forwards for them to simply want to listen.
The fact that none were bothered by the way you were practically draped across his lap only heightened your suspicions of not being the first in this position. Yet, your thoughts could never linger on this for too long as Seonghwa's thumb continued to brush over you sporadically, causing for you to only fall deeper beneath his touch.
San ever so briefly gazed in your direction, especially when the softest on whines escaped from the back of your throat. You could still clearly see that burning jealousy, even through his attempt to hold the benign expression expected of someone in his position.
Jongho clearly couldn't care less as he maintained his sole purpose of ensuring no one passed the line between the grounds of the people and the grounds of the King. Within an instant, both Jongho and San would be expected to step in and ensure their King's safety.
Everything had seemed to be flowing quite smoothly, only until a certain woman stepped forward. She appeared quite ordinary apart from the lack of ears, small dark holes in their place. She bows out of respect before opening her mouth to speak.
"Your Majesty," She opens up, voice quite frail which is almost opposite of what you had expected. Again, your attention doesn't focus too solely on her as Seonghwa purposefully adjusts his position beneath you, rubbing his length on your underside.
"What can I do for you?" He asks her.
"I killed my son," She states simply. Without speaking a single word, Jongho and San have both made their way to be standing at either side of the woman. This places them in a position to be able to render her under arrest need be.
Seonghwa raises a hand, removing it from your waist as he provides the silent gesture to assure his second and third that it is alright. "I am assuming there is going to be some kind of explanation which would lead to you self-incriminating before a court filled with witnesses."
"Indeed, Your Majesty. He was involved with a group of people who had long desired to become familiars who would work to serve the enemy," She continues to explain. Upon mentioning the enemy, Seonghwa's movements on your skin comes to a halt.
He tenses slightly beneath you as you feel your sultry emotions suddenly draining with full attention being given to this subject.
"He was planning to have my entire family murdered so he could help to strengthen Hongjoong and his defences. I don't know where this organisation is located but I do know there are a lot of them. They're turning against your regime, Your Majesty."
Seonghwa remains quiet for a few moments, trying to process the information which had just been fed to him. It wasn't too often he received threats of his people working against him. Most of the time they were merely too afraid to do anything which would ever so slightly set him off. Maybe he needed to send them a reminder as to who was their King.
"Restrain her," He orders calmly. Without hesitation, Jongho grasps the woman's arms, holding them behind her back. Her weak attempts to push him off having no effect whatsoever whilst San places a ward between the woman and the other subjects in the room.
"What are you doing?" You interject immediately, turning your head to face him. He merely maintains his gaze on the other woman, his hand gripping your thigh quite firmly.
