Don't give Up

A rain check

Eliana's POV

It has been about two weeks since the party incident and Zach and I kiss. He had been flirting with me in the halls and other places. I couldn't help it but blush every time. That's all it is, me blushing because I'm filled with embarrassment, That's all. Today We had to rehearse for the Romeo and Juliet play again.

"Let's start the kissing scene". Our teacher yelled from the top of his voice while clapping his hand together with the script between both of them. We have been starting over every time someone messed up, I'm so tired, my legs are giving out, And now to kiss Drew. 'Why'! I mentally screamed to myself.

We were on the stage of our school's theater. "Now This is the part I've been waiting to do". Drew whispered in my ear and I rolled my eyes.

"Places everyone"! He yelled once again Startling me a bit and with that everyone moved to where they were supposed to be.

"Scene".He said.

"Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too"? Drew asked coming close to me. "Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in pray'r". I asked looking into his eyes. "O then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do, They pray grant thou, lest faith turn to despair".

"Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake". I said once again and Then The theatre doors opened and I heard shushing. It was Sam and Zach with friends. I'm not going to get distracted not now. I can't afford to start from the top. I zoned their voices out and focused my attention on the play.

"Then move not while my prayer's effect I take. Thus from my lips, by thine, my sin is purg'd". Drew pulled me in for a kiss and It was slow but I felt nothing. I pulled away slowly placing both my hands on his chest, looking him deep in the eyes.

"Then have my lips the sin that they have took". I spoke. "Sin from my lips? O trespass sweetly urg'd! Give me my sin again". Drew said and he kissed me again, placing his hand on my lower back.

"You kiss by th' book". I said Pulling away Then everyone clapped at the end of that scene.

"I rather kiss in the back". He whispered in my ear and Pointed at the changing rooms I rolled my eyes and smiled. Yeah like if that's going to happen. I did a curtsey and said thank you to those who clapped.

"We will meet here again tomorrow at lunchtime and after school". The teacher said and I took my stuff and walked off the stage. I walked up to Sam and the others as they came up to me.

"Your first kiss"! She squealed and I looked over to Zach and his jaw was clenched. Every time I'm around drew, what's their deal with each other. "No it wasn't and Your talking too loud". I laughed nervously looking at Zach.

"It isn't"? She asked with one brow in the air and Zach was smirking. "No, It wasn't". Zach said. She looked at him and then back at me. "How didn't I not know this before"? She asked with a shocked smile.

"I may have forgotten". "Well, I guess I'll be seeing more of you kissing tomorrow". She winked and I laughed and Zach's jaw was clenched once again. Seriously is something wrong with it, he should get that checked out. He looked great today.

"Babe we should practice more of that kissing scene". Drew said walking up to me with a wink while placing his hand on my waist while looking at Zach and He did the jaw thing again.

"I don't think we need any practice it's just perfect the way it is".  I looked between the both of them with slight confusion. "Well call me if you wanna take a rain check". He whispered in my air and walked off and now I'm embarrassed cause they were all watching at me especially Zach.

I don't like being in between their feud, it's annoying, but I'm going to have to annoy it.

"Anyways what are you guys doing here"? I asked while we walked out of the theatre to the parking lot." We came to see your performance". Sam said and blushed."Oh that's... cool". "I'll see you around Eli". Zach said and walked away with his friends.

"Someone's jealous". Sam said. "He's not jealous, by the way want to come over and hang out with timothy"? I asked her as I got into my car. "Sure, of course, I'll see you there just need to feed my cat". She says and got into her car.

I called timothy and told him to come over and he agreed.

I drove home and Timothy was outside waiting. I parked my car and came out." How long were you here for"? I asked while hugging him and then I unlocked my house door and we walked in.

"About five minutes ago". "I'm sorry to keep you waiting just went by the mini-mart after school to buy us some snacks". I said shaking the bag of snacks I had bought. "Good cause I was hungry". Timothy said dropping himself on the couch and I tossed him The bag. I closed the door and ran up the stairs to my room. "I'm going to change and I'll be back"! I yelled from the top of the stairs.

"Good cause you stink"! He said sounding like his mouth was stuffed. "Ha funny"! I said walking into my bedroom to freshen up. I shot the door behind me and stripped naked.

 A while after Sam came and we started to catch up. Timothy told us about some new girl that He met that came to his school and thought she was cute. The way he talked about her it looked like he kind of liked her.

After chatting I popped pop corn and we watched game of thrones from the beginning even though we watched it already a ton of times but it's nice watching every three months with my friends.

Sam was talking all the way in the show talking on her phone with her So-called grandmother. when she hanged up the phone I and Timothy looked at her with a smile.

"Stop it". She laughed. "What happened to not keeping secrets"? "Says the one who didn't tell me when she had her first kiss". She said taking the attention off of her.

"You did". Timothy asked.

"Okay well, Zach came over last time we went out". "First date and first kiss". "So cute". Sam said." And another time he came into my room and gave me hickey's and made out nothing more". Timothy looked surprised about what I said.

"It's not a big deal, I'm not going to do anything I don't want to". I said."you better not". They both said in unison and I laughed. 

"I feel so left out in Ya'll life but I'm happy for you guys". Timothy said and hugged. "Well maybe you should ask your mother for a transfer. Tell her we're a pack and we long for each other". I said. " You know she'd say no. The last time I asked she said that She didn't want to". We sighed.

 "Okay well let's pinky promise that we won't keep nothing from each other ever again". I said and we touched our pinkies with each other. We always use to do this when we were six. So long ago but I can never forget such a memory.

Then we finished watching our show.
