Morgan looked at the wall as the sun came up lighting up the room that he had called home last night.
Morgan glanced back when he saw the blood covering the back wall. He slowly stood up when he saw the growler in the room with him on the ground.
The neck of the growler had been sliced open and the blood was dripping out of the wounds that Morgan had placed on the creature.
Morgan glanced up when someone knocked at his door.
He went over to the door and saw that it was Matt.
Morgan unlocked the door and went out.
Matt looked back at him, “You got blood on your chin.”
Morgan wiped it away, “What do you want?”
“I was gonna ask if you wanted to go on a run. We need some supplies and the girls have checked this place but nothing.” Matt said back to him.
Morgan nodded his head back at him, “Yea of course, let’s go get some stuff.”
Matt nodded his head as they went down the steps and went down the street with Morgan at his side.
Bella looked up from her bow, “Does anyone ever talk about their feelings?”
McKenzie glared back at her.
I looked down at Ares as he was walking back and forth. “Hey head out and get something to eat.”
Ares took off running as Johanna walked over to the group.
Johanna tossed another bag, “I found that in the upstairs bedroom.”
I looked back at her, “So do you think the guards are still there?”
“Of course not, the last message I got was that the walls had collapsed and that it was over.” Johanna said back to me.
I nodded my head as I opened the bag and something slipped out.
I bent down when I saw the badge.
I picked the badge up and saw that it belonged to me.
I looked back at Johanna with the badge in my hand, “Hey Johanna, look at this!”
Johanna glanced back at me, “That is a family photo.”
I looked back at the badge and saw that it was just a family photo that had been left behind.
I shook my head as McKenzie looked back at me, “You doing ok over that Lauren?”
I nodded my head back at her, “I think I just need food.”
Johanna went back looking at the map as I pushed more of the found objects into the back of the truck.
I stopped when I saw the teddy bear sticking out of the bag. I glanced back at Bella who was walking around the back of the truck.
