"Me and my mom was talking about you and she said she seen some girl named Jodeci on the news, what made you do that shit?"

"When I was young, my life was a living hell, seriously. I would always get abused and school didn't make it better for me back then, I was disowned by my mom side of the family because I found out I like girls at an early ae and they didn't support it. My mom would send me of to other people keep me for some days while my dad was in the military so he didn't know. She wouldn't feed me or provide for me and the people she sent me too were only doing worse shit to me than she did, then I got bullied at school when I was young because of my sexuality and how the way I dressed, I really was about to kill myself." I looked at him for a minute and he just had no emotion on his face

"When my dad came back and my sister was born everything was better but my mom would do some slick things while my dad was gone or in another room in the house, Lala is her favorite she already established that but Lala never turned on me no matter how many times my mom tried, she is on my side. But I was taking the pills because of the warehouse situtation"

"What happened at the warehouse?" He asked me

"Nothing, he just held me captive but I stared thinking about my brother, the nigga you killed, kilted him in front of me and Lala, it was the worst memory ever, my brother was going on 28, so he wasn't home when all that stuff happened with me and my mom and I never told him. I just brought back memories of him dying and we couldn't help him" I said leaving out my dad dealing drugs part

"Damn, im sorry Jodi" He wrapped his arm around me. "But killing yourself aint the way"

"There's nothing to live for" I shrugged

"Aye" He made me look at him. "Stop talking like that, making me nervous, you ain't going back home cause I need to watch you"

I srunched my face up. "When I kill myself imma be at the strip club"
