"Scooby I want out?" I sat on the couch

"You want out?" He chuckled. "This a family thing and with Lala gone who's gonna run it?"

"I do-"

"Jodeci you need to do this, you don't have a choice unless you magically pop out a baby or it falls from the sky" He said being dramatic

"But-"

"You can't stop your business, I get that you lost someone special but this is the game" Scooby rolled a blunt.

"Yo Scooby where the hell Nova at? I been tryna call her so we can go visit Key'onna's grave" Some guy said

"Kai I don't know, Is shawn going with ya'll?" Scooby asked him

He came from where he was and my mouth dropped. "Aint you that football player? How you know my mom?"

"I was Key'onna's bestfriend and still is" He shrugged. "You running the business too?" I nodded my head. "You know where your momma at?"

"She got murdered" I blurted out

"Damn for real?" Scooby/ Marcus squinted his eyes

"Yea I know right, I had that same reaction when I heard the news, I don't know who could've done this"

"So why'd you get arrested?" Marcus asked me

"Someone thought I killed her along with Khari but they didn't have enough evidence" I shrugged

"Did you?"

"No" I shook my head. "I was heartbroken"

"Mhm, so you gonna continue running the business right?" Scooby questioned and I shook my head yes.

"Imma go now, I got something to handle" I hugged him by and waved at Kai before leaving the house and getting inside of my car.

I started driving to my house mainly because I wanted to see if Miracle was really inside of my closet, I didn't know if Taj was joking or not.

Most likey not, A lot of the shit he says people be thinking it's a joke but he really be deadass.

I got out of the car and went in my apartment. I went to my closet and seen a skinny Miracle legs tied up, left hand in hand cuffs, tape on her mouth.

"The fuck was Chucky tryna do?" I srunched my face. I shook her multiple times and she jumped, her eyes widen once she saw me.

"Ya'll was going at it hard huh?" I snatched the tape off her mouth.

"Can you let me loose, I've been here for like over a month"

"No you're good" I made her open her legs and grabbed the vibrator, some way I hooked it up to where I didn't have to hold it for it to stay. "Have fun" I waved as I closed the closet back.

I calld Taj and he answered on the first ring.

"Taj what the fuck? Why didn't you feed her ass?" I said in the phone.

"I didn't know what she liked to eat and she couldn't talk so I didn't feed her, I don't know what pigs like" He sighed. "Don't get mad at me"

"I'm not-"

"She was stupid as fuck anyway"

"How is she stupid?"
