Today, we were using the portal. Luckily, I was the first one to go... yay. I grabbed my dagger, a blue sharp weapon, and my gun, and got ready to meet everyone there. Today, I truly had a reason to worry. Everyone opening the portal was inexperienced, and the agents that knew stuff wanted us to try it ourselves.
The portal itself was growing a nice emerald green, which was my favorite color, and coated the otherwise dark room with bright colors. When the light emitted by the portal touched the furniture, it change colors, which was rather eery. I took a deep breath in, and then released it. I looked at the portal, and once everyone confirmed that they were ready, I ran in.
My first sensation was not a pleasant one. I felt like I was being burned from the inside out. The next one was pain where ears were, and at the top of my head. Then, once it was over, and I looked around I saw a wolf looking at me concerned. He then said, "Who are you?" This was very strange, and I don't think looking at a wolf speak english will ever feel normal. The wolf, noticing my probably strange expression, said, "Ah, I forgot you are human for a second..." He closed, his eyes, and in his place appeared an 8th grader, and before I could respond to his original question, I fainted.
