Back Again

Y/n and her father had just arrived at their new home in America. It was larger then the one they had back in Japan, but it still didn't satisfy the little girl because it didn't feel like home.

No matter how long they stayed, she missed her best friend and the beautiful unique things that stayed over there.

Being a hero was never easy in this society. Especially with one of the top rankings and an amazing quirk, there was always a new job to do or another villain that was targeting you.

Kai hated this because of his family, but he wanted to make the world a better place. To him as his wife said family is always top priority never changed. He was bound to make his daughter happy for the years of being in America.

"Well this is going to be our home for a while Y/n" her father spoke while carrying their luggage and opening the door. The inside was an average home. Not pretty but no too shabby.

It was all the two needed.

"I want to go back to Japan dad" the 5 year old said to her father while sniffling. His face saddened.

Once the two where both inside Kai crouched down to her level. "I know sweet heart, but it will be fine. We can make a new life here and you get to have new friends in a new school." He started to stroke her hair.

"Okay I will try" she smiled sadly. "Great. Now help me unpack and I'll set everything in place, then we can have soba with rice for dinner." Kai walked away with a couple of boxes.

That was Shoto's favorite.

10 Years Later...

Y/n's POV:

Dad was finally done with hero work in America! So now we are both on a plane going back to Japan! I can't wait to go back and see all of the beautiful things that I missed grow over the years.

I mean yeah sure I made a couple of friends in America, and that babysitter I had on the weekends was really nice, plus sweet. But nothing compares to the home where mom once was. I smiled to myself thinking about her.

"Good evening passengers. We are about to make a heavy landing in the Japanese Airport. Thank you for choosing U.S airlines and have a nice day." We all heard the lady on the plane speak through the phone. "Geez finally!" I stretched out in my seat.

"Someone sounds excited" I turned to see my dad reading through a newspaper. "Of course I am. I'm fifteen now so I can do so much more things!" He left the newspaper and looked at me. "Now don't think just because your older you can do things. It's still a dangerous place and your still my little girl." I rolled my eyes but then ended up laughing. "Okay dad."

We soon both arrived at the airport and got our luggage from the conveyor belt. It was an easy drive back home since dad had called a taxi really early, and there wasn't lots of traffic around with all of the cars. It was the evening but that didn't really matter.

Now we are really home and I'm happy.

Dad and I started to unpack and set things up. I can help more now since I'm older, obviously. We didn't get the same house as when we used to live here but it was still in the same area and neighborhood. Just closer to some schools for older kids that I could go to now.

I kind of don't want to go to school anymore, since it will be harder to make friends. After all, everyone there is grown and going through some changes. But I'm glad I went to America because I got to try new things and train! I still don't have a quirk but I'm amazing at combat skills and very agile on my feet. Like a ninja!

"Hey y/n kiddo. I forgot to tell you something" dad spoke up after setting the kitchen things down on the counter. "Huh what is it dad?" I wiped some sweat from my forehead and slowly placed the glass things down on the floor of the living room.

"On the plane I got an email from a teacher at UA and he said that you were accepted for your skills!" At that sentence my eyes immediately lit up. "Woah really you did that for me?!" I knew dad would do anything to please me. I'm his only daughter, but this felt like a dream!

"Yup anything for my little girl to succeed" he smiled back at me. I ran towards my dad and gave him a huge hug. "Thank you so much" a tear slipped out of my eye. "Your welcome."

We stayed like this for a while until he decided to keep working. "Get your things ready for your first day tomorrow!" "Alright dad!"

I actually may have a chance at being a hero!
