I walked over to Stella. I told her about what happened.
"That's weird," she answered after I told her.
"Yeah. Did you dance with David yet?"
"Yes." She looked at the water that filled her plastic cup.
"You don't look so happy about it. What's up?"
"He seemed..." There was a moment of silence as she searched for the right word. "I don't know. Distracted."
"Why would that happen?"
She shrugged.
"Well, the slow songs are about to come up again, so you might want to give it another shot with Jake."
"You too, but with David."
She nodded and stalked away. I walked over to Jacob, who was talking to Will.
"Hey, Jake. Do you want to dance again?" I asked shyly. He considered this for a moment, then nodded and smiled.
We walked over to the dance floor, just as the song 'Say Something' came on.
"You remember how to dance, right?" he asked, smirking.
"Yeah." I wrapped my hands around his neck and he did the same with my waist.
We danced for a little while, until someone started shouting at me.
"Get away from him!" a female voice yelled. A force ripped me away from Jacob and turned me to face her. She had her black hair in a French braid, she was wearing a very tight and short navy blue dress and her face had too much makeup on it.
Livy.
"Get away from him!" she repeated.
"Why should I do that?"
The music had stopped. Everyone was watching us. One wrong move and I would be humiliated for the rest of my life.
"He's mine! He's my boyfriend, not yours!"
I was pretty sure that I would be humiliated for the rest of my life. Because now, my visions of the future were gone.
Now, I didn't know who was the right guy for me.

The End.
For now...
