Chapter 7 –

I woke up strangely alert this time and I looked around. I was in Kyle’s room. Then I noticed that someone was sitting beside, and when I looked I saw Kyle head down, he was out cold. Great. We were also tied to chairs, why? I had to get of here and so did Kyle, we also needed help. But how was I gonna do that when I was tied to a chair? I sat there for a long time and thought hard. I must have gone through a million ideas when I struck one. A good one, which is rare for me. My phone. My phone was in my back pocket and my hands were tied behind me, BINGO! As I went to reach for it, Luke came in, the complete ass.

“Nice to see that you are awake Ava, shame about Kyle though.” He said eyeing Kyle. Man, this dude needs such a good beating and I was gonna be the person to do it when I got free.

“Nothing, but my girl here does.” Luke gestured to the door and Joanne walks in. The same Joanne who tried to kill me three years ago.

I couldn’t believe it! Joanne was with Luke! I should have known really when Kyle told me that they used to date. Joanne stood there grinning hugely, it made feel sick.

“What do you want Joanne?” I said coldly.

“Aww, Ava’s upset.” She cooed and I frowned.

“Cut the crap Joanne.” I growled. She raised her eyebrows and walked round and grabbed the back of my head and pulled. I screamed until she let go. She bent down in front of me until we were eye level.

“Don’t get me upset Ava.” She looked like pure evil. “It could get ugly.” She scared the hell out of me. She then laughed and stepped back.

“Have you got the stuff?” She asked Luke without looking at him.

“Sure have baby.” He said and she turned and kissed him gently.

“Come on, we will be back later.” She winked at me and left the room with Luke close behind her. Uh-oh. Something bad was gonna happen.

“Kyle?...Kyle!” I whispered as I kicked his chair. He stirred and then groaned and looked up at me.

“Ava?” He asked confused. I nodded.

“Yep, it’s me. Are you ok?” he nodded looking around. “Don’t worry I’m gonna get us out of here.” I continued. I pulled my phone out slightly and hit the speed dial which I put Lucy on. I sighed in relief when it rang.

“Hello?’ She answered.

“Hey Luc, it’s me. Can you hear me?” I said putting my head back as far as I could go.

“Yeah, are you ok?”

“No, I need your help. Luke and Joanne are in the house and they have tied us to chairs. Luc, you need to get help but they are armed with stuff. You need to be careful.”

“Yeah ok, hang in there Ava, I will be there soon.”

“Ok, bye.” I said hanging up. I turned and looked at Kyle who was stunned.

“What? I have her on speed dial.” I said shrugging. “Are you ok?”

“Oh god yeah, don’t worry bout me.” I smiled.

“That’s my problem, I do worry.” I said smiling wider and he frowned at me.

We must have been sat there for hours because when the door opened finally the windows were dark. They walked in hand in hand and Joanne looked pleased with herself. I then eyed the matched in Joanne’s hand the petrol bottle in Luke’s. This was so not good and I had a feeling that were going to be the new style of KFC. My future suddenly looked slim.
