Dark Desire

Chapter 13

Ralph was trying to make me laugh and smile because he knew I was nervous. I really want to thank him for that. But something is wrong with me. Why can't I just fall in love with Ralph and be a cute couple? I am sure that he deserves happiness. So do I. But I know the reason for not falling in love with him. It's because of Derek.

People are used to being attracted to people who destroy them.......

Suddenly I saw Anthi approaching me with fast steps. She was trembling and seemed terrified. 
Oh no! I hope she didn't....see Derek's anger.                                       
"You and me are going to the restroom now!" she said                    
"Okay let's go," I said calmly                "And you are going to take your things with you, like me," she told me and grabbed her bag and her jacket.   

I did the same and followed her. I looked at Derek before I got out and saw him upset. I think he was arguing with Stiles.

I and Anthi entered the hall and we went downstairs, where the restroom was. It was creepy and it looked like a basement. We got inside and we stood up in front of a sink.                                     
"There is something seriously going on with you! I mean how can you live like that?" Anthi yelled at me.     
"I don't understand..........What happened?" I asked her.                      

"Okay, I will be more specific. How long have you known Derek?" 
I don't like where the conversation is going. Maybe the time has come to expose Derek to Anthi.
"Three weeks..........why?"I asked her                                                    
"Well, I saw something that scared me so much..........And If it's true we will be in big trouble" she said almost terrified.                                 
"What did you see?" I asked her calmly.                                               
"His eyes turned red and he was so angry!......... I know what I saw......Sylvie do you know what is wrong with him?" she said and she was looking at me scared.

Well, that's it. I cannot hide it from her anymore. I don't know how to say it so I'm just going to be straightforward.

"Will you at least wait until we get back in our house?" I asked her      
"No! you are going to tell me now........I won't go upstairs again to face him!" she yelled at me      
"Okay, but you have to be calm! It's not that simple!" I said to her          
"Tell me........" she said and sounded ready for my answer.
It was harder than I thought to tell her who Derek was.
"He is a werewolf Anthi.........."I whispered          
She stayed with her mouth open, probably trying to figure out what I said to her.
"That's it! I'm going to faint now!"
"No please Anthi I know it's difficult but I need you to stay calm, if he finds out he is going to kill me!" I told her worried.
"How can you expect me to do that right now? All of these wolf attacks, are from him? AND WE ARE IN THE SAME BUILDING WITH HIM?" She asked me terrified.

"He can hear us down here so please just stay calm and let's go back!"I begged her.
"I'm not going back, Sylvie! How the hell can you know.......this thing about him and still wanting him?"
She asked angrily.

"I know you are right but please let's go somewhere else!" I said
"We are leaving now!" She yelled.
"Okay, I will call the guys!"
"No we are going to leave alone" she shouted and before I was going to talk, she grabbed my arm and we headed outside.

We left quickly and no one understood it. At least that's what I thought. After a while of walking, me and Anthi were in the middle of nowhere and we could only see trees, the road, and us. It was dark but we could discern some stores many meters away.
"I seriously didn't want our night to end like that. Now what? Do you find clever the fact that we left like that?"I asked her.
