(Part 32)

Shawn's POV

After a month of teasing the song, Seeing Blind finally came out. The fans were ecstatic and loved the song as soon as it was released. Niall and I kept getting emails and DMs from fans telling us how much they loved the song. We loved that the fans loved the song.

A month after the song came out though, we decided to make a music video for it. It took a month and a half to make the music video but we finally got it finished. We teased the fans with the music video until we uploaded it onto Niall's YouTube page. After that, the fans went crazy. They loved the music video even more than the original song.

Now, two months after the music video came out, it was my and Niall's turn. I was terrified but, with Niall by my side, I was at least semi-calm.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked as we sat on the couch.

"We can wait longer but we've been dating for almost a year now and the fans deserve to know," Niall said.

"I know," I said.

"Are you ready?" Niall asked, looking at his phone that was on a stand facing me and Niall.

"As I'll ever be," I sighed.

Niall put his arm around my shoulders and kissed my forehead before pressing the 'Go Live' button on Instagram.

Hundreds of thousands of fans suddenly started appearing on the live along with comments flooding the screen.

"Hi, guys," Niall smiled at his phone as a whole bunch more comments came onto the screen. "So, Shawn and I have seen how much you loved Seeing Blind and we thought that we'd make another announcement."

Questions started flooding the comment section. Are they together? Is there going to be another song? Are they gay?

Niall looked at me as I took a deep breath.

"Niall and I wanted to tell you guys that we are together," I said, feeling Niall squeeze my shoulder in a comforting way. "We have been together for almost a year and we didn't want to keep this from you all any longer."

More comments started appearing along with comments that made me want to cry. Niall didn't seem to catch many of them but every nasty comment that I read made me want to cry more and more. But, instead of walking away, I placed my head on Niall's shoulder. Niall started to rub my shoulder before he looked back at his phone.

"That's it for now," Niall said. "Bye!" He ended the live and looked at me. "Don't let those nasty comments get to you."

I sighed. "I won't," I said.

"I know, but I saw the way you were reading them and the way you rested your head on my shoulder. You only do that when you're sad or when you have something on your mind," Niall said.

"You know me too well," I said.

"Just promise me that the nasty comments won't get to you," Niall said.

"I can't promise but if they are really getting to me, I'll let you know," I said. "Okay?"

"Okay," Niall said. "Now, enough of that. What do you want to do now?"

"I don't know," I said.

"There's a beach that isn't too far from here, do you want to go?" Niall asked.

"You mean the beach that we go to all the time?" I asked, looking up at Niall who looked back at me confused. "I've been staying here for five and a half months, remember?"

"Right, sorry," Niall said, smacking his forehead. "I guess I've been so caught up in everything that I can't even remember that my boyfriend was laying in my bed next to me every night."

I chuckled.

"So, the beach?" Niall asked.

"Can we get some food too?" I asked. "I'm hungry."

"Hey, that's my line!" Niall laughed.

"Mine now," I chuckled.
