Epilogue

Niall and Shawn have been happily married for three years. Within those three years, both of them released new music and even new albums. But, when the third year rolled around, they made a mutual decision that they wanted to start a family. So, doing the reasonable thing, they went to an adoption center.

"Are you sure about this?" Niall asked as Shawn drove them to the adoption center.

"Are you having second thoughts?" Shawn asked.

"No," Niall said. "I love the thought of having a family, especially with you."

"Then what's on your mind?" Shawn asked.

"I just don't want to mess up," Niall said. "You know what I mean?"

"I know exactly what you mean," Shawn said. "But, from what I've heard, that's what parenting is all about."

"Really?" Niall asked.

"Like I said, that's just what I've heard," Shawn said. "Besides, don't they put people through a class before letting them adopt?"

"I don't think it's mandatory," Niall said.

"Would you feel better if we took that class before adopting?" Shawn asked.

"Maybe," Naill said.

"Yes or no," Shawn said.

"Yes, I would feel more comfortable taking the class first," Niall said.

Months afterward, Niall and Shawn adopted a little girl named Diana. The only weird part was that Diana looked like a combination of Niall and Shawn. With Shawn's curly brown hair, Niall's bright blue eyes, and a few random freckles scattered across her face, you weren't even able to tell that Diana was adopted.

Within the first few days of bringing Diana home, Niall and Shawn thought Diana would be a handful. But, they were proven wrong when little Diana turned out to be an angel.

Diana would help Shawn clean and do the laundry, she would help Niall cook and clean, and she got along with the other kids better than Shawn and Niall thought she would. Harry and Louis were a little upset that Niall took the name Diana after Harry said that he wanted it. But, after Louis and Harry saw Diana, they weren't upset anymore. In fact, Harry nearly fell in love with the little girl.

Cameron even loved Diana and wished that his kid would be just like her. Cameron's girlfriend, now wife, would laugh and hit Cameron's arm before totally agreeing.

Even Zayn and Liam's children loved Diana. She fit right in with the rowdy crew.

"Diana," Shawn called after he and Niall told everyone goodbye.

With one call, Diana ran towards Shawn with her hair bouncing behind her.

"Yes, daddy?" Diana asked.

"Say goodbye to everyone before we leave," Niall said.

"Okay, papa," Diana said before running over to the guys and saying goodbye.

"You and Niall got really lucky with a little girl like her," Harry said, walking over to Shawn.

"We like to think so too," Niall smiled.

"But, it gets kind of hard when she doesn't leave my hip," Shawn chuckled.

"Are you complaining?" Niall asked.

"No, she's absolutely adorable and I wouldn't change it for the world," Shawn smiled as Diana came running towards him.

In one swift motion, Shawn had a giggling Diana in his arms as Nial watched with a smile.

"Are we all ready to go?" he asked.

"Yup," Diana smiled.

"Alright," Shawn said. "We're heading out!"

"Bye!" everyone called out in unison.

"Let's go," Niall said before he and Shawn walked out the door.

The three of them got into the car and after everyone was all buckled in, Shawn started the car and the three of them were on their way home.
